Stupid me... somethin to share with you guys..

remember the problem i have with my phone lock not working?
after reflash the rom n restore my backup app/data, the problem still persist..
then i do manual app uninstall one by one and found the root cause..

it is cause by battery indicator pro.. there is this function from this app which can remove the phone unlock..
guess i must hv accidentally set this to enable..
waste me so much time..

dont think u need to hv antivirus for yr phone..
as for rom manager and nfs, nvr used these before.. cant help u on this..

so far, i found the g5 wifi is very weak and someone did mention b4 this is most probably a software bug coz they found froyo wifi signal is much stronger compare to eclair.
hopefully the official froyo rom will fix both the gps locking n wifi signal bugs.

sure u can.. the dropbox is for us to share apps among ourselves..
do make sure those apps are working for G5 before you share

can elaborate more on this? only happen on certain app or totally cannot on all the app/etc?

hey guys. long time din online in china. finally got place to wifi now in chengdu. past few days in lanzhou n its really freezing here. temp from -15°c to -5°c. too bad, din manage to c snow.

this is not normal... my advice is to perform the factory reset.. before you do this, make sure you do backup backup backup..

1) In this dropbox server download Odin v4.28 and Ops file, and I5500LUYJP2
2. Extract Odin v4.28 and Ops File.zip and I5500LUYJP2.rar, the password is samfirmware.com
3. Open Odin v4.28,
-Select OPS tab: EUROPA_I5508_v1.0.ops
-Thick One Package, Auto Reboot and Protect OPS at the Option section
-Select I5500LAROJP2.tar from where you have extracted the I5500LUYJP2
4. Turn off phone, remove battery for 5second, put it back
5. Hold "Volume Down, Center button & Power button" in the same time to enter Download Mode. Your are in download more when you see the yellow triangle with "!" sign
in it and the word downloading on top of it.
5. Connect to PC with USB cable
6. When the data line and the phone connection is successful, com port shows yellow in Odin
7. Press Start on Odin
8. Waitin & Pray! and DONT PANIC. This section usually require 5-6 minutes. The phone will reboot it self and you just have to wait.
9. When odin said the flashing has PASS, you by now has FROYO!!. but wait is not done.
10. You have to do Hard reset after flashing by dialing *2767*3855#
11. And your done
