Battery drain on froyo is due the clock, like i said on previous message
You can fix it using set cpu or do my tuto i wrote a few posts ago If you guys want i can put the fix inside a modified I5500LUY2 The swap partition we can do with a kernel compilation, i have the kernel sources here just need to spend sometime to get it done ----------------------- If anyone wants to help, please search around a see if you can find the patches made to the kernel repo that create the samsung kernel Because samsung patches the kernel with their stuff and then removes whats not needed, if we have the patches, we can get the official kernel, patch it and enable swap and multitouch for example. Put it in the I5500LUY2 and go! -------------------------- |

Actuall it does support swap, it`s just disabled
I`m inside the samsung kernel now and i can select the swap option But i rather get the untouched kernel like I said above and enable multitouch also Can anyone put that in the first post? Something like: "How can i Help?" - Find samsung kernel sources without the "cleanup" or the patches that are applied to the official kernel |
