HTC replied me.
QUOTE With reference to your query, froyo update for Wildfire will be avaliable in SEA region tomorrow. Take the server limitation into consideration not all customer will get the notification once the upgrade is released. Therefore you may not be able to get the notification tomorrow but you may get the notification in the recent several days. Your phone will receive a notification of FOTA update when it is made available. Simply press OK to accept the update via a data connection such as Wi-Fi or GPRS/3G. After installing the update, you can confirm a successful update by confirming the Build number (From the Home Screen go to MENU> Settings> About Phone> Software Information> Build number). The new Build number after the update will be 2.24.707.1. Update: Android 2.2 update. Note:Please back up your data first before upgrading your phone. We recommend using a free Wi-Fi hotspot or an unlimited data plan to apply this update. If not, standard data connection charges may apply. |

Already update to froyo just now.
Here my experience. -Weather widget will work at the moment, but it will become blank and cannot click update, that mean cannot work. -Wifi power is stonger. -Hotspot build in, thats mean you handcarry a wireless router. -Move all the application to SD card. -Now you can set ringtone, media, alarm and notification on each volume. Thats all for now, will keep update it. |
