Yea, I tested it with 3Gs, Wildfire can get signal within 10 seconds. iPhone, more than 20 seconds. Android! flex.gif

tested with Iphone 4... if you say wildfire is 10 sec, i can say both quite similar time.. but Iphone 4 detect speed is very fast indeed... sometime not even 10 sec, what i see la...
i use my colleague's iphone 4 papago at SG coz i did not install any ahem version on mine...

nowdays i feel wildfire take longtime to lock the signal. and very depend on the road.

less than 10sec ? are u serious ? usually took me 10min to lock the signal with the help of GPS test if no use GPS test i try before i reach the my friend house edi the signal also not yet lock =.=

i'm not sure how does it works but my fren just click on papago then after a while it locks... even we have yet to go out of the hotel car park... not sure he fully closed the apps or is it running but after he clicks it, it catches our location quite fast... i tested it at a few location... my SG office, hotel, JB and a few times in klang valley...

Yea, less than 10 second. It shocked me too. Maybe some of you fired up the Papago on cold start, so it takes longer time to get the GPS signal. I always check-in my location status on Foursquare.

depend on location. sometimes, u at some bad spot. sure won't get signal that fast.

I realized that wildfire reception is low in those weak line area...

That time when my phone can get GPS signal within 10 seconds, I was on Federal Highway.

Talk about signal, do you guys receive your messages like late for 1 or 2 minutes? =.=" Sometimes five minutes for me

coz you are using the data during that time???

do you realise that you will have missed call after u use the net or playing with something which needs data...
it happens... so no choice...
