Anyways, I decided to skip Asia Media Group. Found a target I'm more comfortable with - Benalec.

Benalec is going for RM1.00 par at RM0.25, PE12.5x... seems expensive to me. 12.5x based on 2010 results.

The 2010 PAT results is far too high compared to the trend of 2009, 2008.

That is what I analysed. 90mil is placed out and 8mil is just for float. I am sure the people behind is going to push it fly... Looking at the underwriter, i know already.

the bad side is these private investors will dictate the price....no chance for public with only 8 mill shares...so better sell off on first day...if dun want to be burned by these private investors.....

Focus Point is very unlucky. It is one of its kind in recent history. Most of the issues would have been addressed before the IPO. I believe investors money are always protected.

Well, it will be hard time for that stock to rebound. Reason is first impression already failed.. Scared investor out.. Will take a long time to repair those errors, only share price will come back up.
