Went thru the negotiation period and secured the service of Cristiano Ronaldo and also Marshall (will be my 2nd option for GK now as Cesar Sanchez getting old tongue.gif). Reshuffle the team:

4-4-2 formation

----------------------------- Dijbril Cisse (CF)---------------------
--------------- Raul (CF)--------------------------------------------
-- C. Ronaldo (LMF) ------------------------ Beckham (RMF) --
-------------------------------- S. Gerrard (CMF) ------------------
-------------- T. Gravesen (CMF ) -------------------------------
-- R. Carlos (LSB) ------------------------ M. Saldago (RSB) --
----------- Sergio Ramos (CB) --- J. Woodgate (CB) ----------
------------------------- Cassilas (GK) -----------------------------

Most played substitutes:

Ronaldo (CF)
Robinho (CF or LMF)
Park Ji Sung (LMF or RMF)
Guti (CMF)
Baptista (CMF)
I. Helguera (CMF or CB)
Raul Bravo (CB)
Marshall (2nd GK)

Ranked 6th in the league now with 7 wins, 6 draws and 3 losses and managed to get into D1 Cup semi-final. Raul is da top scorer in da league now. S. Gerrard is the key player in attacking after Zidane had left. His passing and long powerful shots always come in the right time. Even struck a goal from 32m away with free kick. Sergio Ramos is the man when it come to defending. I didnt noticed he's tat good when I rested I. Helguera due to fatigue. He played quite well in observing opponent penetration and intercept it biggrin.gif *he's good at this position, but when I swapped he with J. Woodgate position, he's ain't tat good... funny... after all, both also CB position tongue.gif*

I play PE55 demo. i think it as same as WE9. really easy to control the ball, hard to through pass, i'm ok with that coz still can find opportunity to pass; but referee so strict even my player position at the same line as the opponent defender still he whistle offside, i hate that! LOL laugh.gif
btw i like the "improvement that PE55" when player got injuries.
i hate waiting for PE55~F**K!
*
Yeah, couldn't deny that the refereeing very strict already and often happen more fouls.. Sometime silly fouls happen too sweat.gif.. and the GK getting better, difficult to 1 on 1 now tongue.gif... as I mentioned earlier, now it's like watching NBA for me... always foul within short period of play doh.gif

One more thing easily noticed, last time in Master League, I didnt receive any offer from other club asking for a trade but now got di tongue.gif

Hmmm. I'm using Real in my ML too. Right now in 2nd season. Still got Owen there, since if I was the Manager I'd never let him go. Beckham is a bollocks player and together with Raul and Woodgate are on my transfer list. Plan to use the ref funds for Raul to lure Adriano over to Real.

My best eleven:

-------------------Schwarz(CF)-------------------------------------
------------------------------------Ronaldo(CF)--------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------J.Baptista (OMF)-----------------------
-----------Zidane (OMF)--------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------Kaebi (CMF)----------
---------------------Gravesen(CMF)--------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
--------R.Carlos(SB)--------------------------------Cicinho(SB)---
-------------------Kompany(CB)-------V.D.Borre(CB)-------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------Casillas(GK)-------------------------
Frequent Subs:

Owen/Raul  --> for CF
Robinho --> for ST or OMF position.
M.Salgado for Cicinho
Beckham for Kaebi/Gravesen
Guti/Raul for Zidane

Schwarz is my great find in this game. Only 19 years old, big build and powerful left foot. Good in the air,and has freekick abilities. Although still very raw and his control and speed is very poor right now, should develop well in the next few seasons. If you play to his strengths, can be a good target man.

Hosin Kaebi is my main Sideback since WE8I. Never fails me. Althouhg stamina is a bit bad and smal size, he's got speed and good passing. Also has good psoitioning sense if you use him offensively. Should develop well.

Owen is good but has got a useless left foot. Raul dissapointing as always for me. Ronaldo, still good, but gets injured often. Zidane the master, can't last a match.

Depending on the opponent, if they play an open game, I 'll use the more skilled palyers. If they are tough defensively, i'll play more direct and have more muscle in the lineup e.g sometime use ppl like J.Baptista as CF since he's stronger. biggrin.gif

Looking to bring in some youth in next transfer window.
Cover for CMF and CB as well as a young GK like K.Schemichel or Lewis.
For DF Pique or Orlandi would be great cover for R.Carlos.

Cheers
*
Hehe.. in my patched version of WE9 *I did it myself tongue.gif*, already got some latest transfers and Owen already went to Newcastle. He's good... fast... but sometime lack of accuracy. Anyway, what version that u r playing? In WE9, I can feel Raul is much better than the WE8I or WE8LE Raul. In the other way, I feel Ronaldo is lacking sweat.gif... That's why Raul and Dijbril Cisse in my starting lineup smile.gif... different para perhaps laugh.gif

Beckham in the other way, he's ok for me. After all, everytime he's overrated sweat.gif. I switched him to play as RMF rather than being CMF. *give ur way to Great Steven Gerrard laugh.gif*. J. Woodgate? Still ok lar... better than Pavon, but I miss W. Samuel.

R. Carlos and M. Saldago are getting old... I need to find substitute for them as soon as possible. Raul Bravo just so-so only. So far, Cristiano Ronaldo haven't show me that I paid the right value for him. Anyway, only played 2 games after the transfer tongue.gif. Will hunt for defenders and more young players in the next transfer. Haven't check out yet... smile.gif

WE9-PS2 with Fernando V4 patched.

Owen, yeah lacks accuracy, but in We9 he actually still improves (better growth). In WE8LE he stopped after 1-2 seasons. I'm in 2nd season now and Owens' getting sharper. As you said, Raul is much better this time round too.

Beckham i place him as CMF but plays a bit on the right (in place of KAebi).

This becoz in WE9 the chipped thru ball is dependant on skill, and Beckham in the middle allows him to spread the play better. Also scripting wise, putting your players role as CMF allows them to cover a wider range.

No cash for any big name transfers yet, probably at the end of this season. Carlos and Salgado on my blacklist already, and were going to have 'THE GREAT MADRID SALE' at the end season transfer window.  thumbup.gif

As for replacements, try Orlandi/Pique at LB and Cicinho at RB. Christian Chivu also great at LB, but he's old at 24-25. I miss W.Samuel too. What were Real ever thinking when they sold him. YOu know, they only got rid of him, so that they accomodate J.Bapista/Robinho (only 3 Non-EU players in La-Liga) Since Carlos is already Spanish PR.

Yeah got my eye on Gerard too.

Cheers Vearn, have a nice weekend.
*
Now I'm playing WE9 patched with Hawkes kits + Maximo Chants + FIFA Commentary + Wemerica v3.0 Final and Wemerica v3.0 Option File Special thumbup.gif

Plain Wemerica driving me mad with the chants as it's too lousy and I dun really like PES4 commentary *feeling regret doing it, but after all... I dunno I was patching the commentary at 1st sweat.gif*... then FIFA Commentary and Maximo Chants save my day from getting bored with WE9 thumbup.gif

From all forwards that I have: Raul, Ronaldo, Dijbril Cisse, Robinho, Thompson *acquired by trading offer to me*; Raul partnering Dijbril Cisse the best for me. Raul can play well as forward and 'backing' + 'passing' some nice balls to Dijbril Cisse to do the finishing. Raul more like a 'support forward' to me but hey, he scored quite a number of magnificent goals laugh.gif. Too bad Raul didnt managed a break thru for me before as his speed and acceleration really not that great. Cisse, in the other side playing quite well for me especially his strong, powerful and massive shots shocking.gif *I didnt believe it, frankly... I didnt believe it*... all his shots were fast, powerful and accurate. Ronaldo can't do that for me, he just can't... I tried very best to make Ronaldo in the first selection as he was before, but he couldn't score and normally when I substitued him with Cisse to play 30> minutes... Cisse scored doh.gif *in certain matches, critical goals for me*

Yupz, rather than playing as OMF and DMF, I rather play 2 CMF as they will attack and defense, covering wider range for me. At the moment, no one playing that position better than my selection of S. Gerrard and T. Gravesen wink.gif. Looking forward to dump Baptista and Guti for other players. As back-up and substitute, I got I. Helguera to cover for me *although only T. Gravesen position*, else I'll bring Beckham down to S. Gerrard place when he's resting and play C. Ronaldo on the right and Park Si Jung will be on the left. So actually it's quite important to get player with many roles as they can just slot in anytime smile.gif.

Ok... I'm going to add ur recommendations to my shopping list thumbup.gif

Sweet revenge... just sweet revenge and a nice one wink.gif

But I didnt have any problem with Barca, all the time I'll be trashing them tongue.gif. Meet 3 times in Div. 1 cup (H/A) and the league. They normally start with 2 forwards and then only play 3 forwards in the 2nd half when they couldn't get the net. Once switched to 3 forwards, they'll have problem defending in their half laugh.gif.. more shots coming after their GK.

I couldn't remember which teams, but playing against Liverpool and Arsenal just damm hard for me especially Arsenal. They just keep on pressure on the ball and I couldn't pass it around nicely... but thankx I drew with them sweat.gif. I only getting 2 Shot On Goal in the match against Arsenal and they're like 9 ~ 10 shocking.gif.. I hardly get the ball playing beyond my 2nd half.. perhaps it's my formation didnt match to counter their formation.. after all, blame me for my laziness to change doh.gif

*note that S. Gerrard not in the game against Arsenal as he's too fatigue and Raul been called up for national duty. Ended up Cisse starting with Ronaldo and then Robinho as substitute.. sad.gif*

Now I'm in nearly the end of the season with 5 more matches to go... the Div. 1 Cup Final against Manchester United and also 4 league matches left with big name Arsenal and Liverpool in them.

Now ranked 4th in da league with a huge different points gap from the top spot. Even 3rd rank is 5 points and 2nd rank is 7 points above me. Pretty bad season with a lot of draws and 5 lost. However, managed to make it into the Div. 1 Cup Final and will against Manchester United, a final chance for a silverware this season.

In the league, I lost once *if not mistaken, else draw* and won once against Man U, the current league leader. They're playing 1 CF and 2 WGs against me. Crowded the midfields in the middle and I'm forced to do side attacks. Their players keep on pressuring on the ball. Once my player got the ball, 2~3 players will close down and gotta back dribble or find a way to pass. I remember I had a bad time with them *coz I seldom play, couldn't remember much tongue.gif*, but managed to play a 1-0 win against them in 2nd meeting in league game. Raul managed to intercept a loose back pass and then Van Der Sar was out from da penalty box.. too bad I can't see him earlier else I would had scored from nearly half field laugh.gif, somehow then run forward with the ball and saw Van Der Sar running back toward his goal, then Raul hit the low post with a powerful low drive thumbup.gif.

The 5th lost of the season was against the 2nd spot in league, Chelsea, 2-0. Dammit, I just couldn't fully maximize the position and performance of Steven Gerrard. Gotta change my formation from time to time to find the best one. Although there's no solid one best formation against all teams, but I'm just looking for the common starting one smile.gif. Barca, which ranked 3rd in the league in the other way get thrashed all the time when meeting Real biggrin.gif. For all 4 meetings in this season *Div. 1 Cup Quater-Final*, Barca lost 2 goals and above each time. The latest meeting pretty bad to them, a midfielder red-carded after 8 minutes of playing for sliding from behind and then Beckham hit the net from free kick. Later in the game, Raul was brought down in the box and then he hit the net from the spot.

Will be looking forward to give all out against Man U for the Div. 1 Cup trophy and then the 2 league matches against Arsenal and Liverpool. Although they're ranked below Real in the league, somehow they're still good teams to play against with.

Yo jiwa, it seem like both of us have the same interest. Like taking WE into real-time football gaming thumbup.gif. Last time I did post before in the WE8LE thread and some ppl just saying I'm enjoying myself putting up story like that... but somehow, I feel like I'm happy saying all these and during the game, I really wish I could share my experience with other WE fanatic fans.

There was a thread like this in Evo-Web.. but in the end it's more like flaming rather than anything else.. those ppl criticising on buying good players shakehead.gif.. after all, this is game.. How on world that Real fans wish to has Stevie G in their lineup laugh.gif.. game make all fantasy to be real tongue.gif

Enjoyz~! cool.gif

Yup... those ppl there got NBTD shakehead.gif.. well, as u said.. it's my decision and likeness to have all great players in my lineup and bench, it doens't give a f**k for them to ruin my fun with the game. After all, it's basically individual's preference nod.gif

Another sad case is in Evo-Web, even patch makers also kena flamed doh.gif *hey, c'mon lah.. they're doing it for free and then kena shoot back pulak shocking.gif*..

Too bad, in my patch and OF, Owen already went to Newcastle and he's doing good there. Although not in the starting lineup, but yet still 2nd top scorer in da league and same spot with Raul. Just another goal to gain the same position as top scorer tongue.gif. Base on my experience playing with Owen, he's good and my favorite pair with Henry in WE7I. But then getting lack of accuracy but yet the pace is still there in WE8 and WE9. It's good if he's already in ur team, but not really a good idea to buy him if he's not. For his value, there's a lot better choices smile.gif

Zidane, really helped a lot in attacking and my key player to gain from Div.2 to Div.1 during my first season with Real Madrid. Although he's slow, but his dribbling skill easily get the defenders out of his way. Not to mention his powerful shoot and also accuracy... can even do bicycle kick volley *oh mine~! shocking.gif --> laugh.gif*.. But then, his lack of stamina brought him down. Fatigue easily and only will be playing for last 2 seasons before retire. So, I sold him to fund for Stevie G thumbup.gif..

In the beginning, Stevie G influence much on the attacking but due to my stupidness, I'm not getting any juice from him with his current position and preference in attack directions. Gotta change my formation.. sad.gif

Still thinking whether to let go Ronaldo and Robinho for other wingers and forwards unsure.gif.. not really helping to get the ball behind opponent's goal line sad.gif.. In another way, I'm glad I didnt let go Ivan Helguera, he's excellent in midfield. U should try him once or twice wink.gif

In the end of my 2nd season with Real Madrid, won the Div. 1 Cup against Manchester United with a slim 2-1 win. Then in the final 4 matches of the league, won against big club Arsenal 1-0 but lost to Liverpool 2-1 *final match of da season cry.gif*.

Thru the negotiation period.. *aiks.. dunno who to buy, so in the end much influenced by Jiwa's recommendations and players tongue.gif*.. Traded a few players, R. Carlos for Ashley Cole and few other players (couldn't remember doh.gif). Secured the service of Kaka (MF), Frabegas (CMF), Chive (SB), Kompany (CB), Marshall (GK) and then my new formation and line up:

------------------------------------ Ronaldo/Cisse (CF)--------------------------
----------------------- Raul (CF) -------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------ Beckham (RMF) -----
----- Kaka (LMF) -----------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------- S. Gerrard (CMF) -------------------
------------------------ Gravesen (CMF) ----------------------------------------
----- Ashley Cole (LSB) ------------------------------------ Chivu (RSB) -----
-------------------- S. Ramos (CB) ----- J. Woodgate (CB) ------------------
------------------------------- Cassilas (GK) -------------------------------------

Substitutes:
Either Ronaldo or Cisse will be on the bench (CF)
Robinho (SMF)
C. Ronaldo (SMF)
Park Si Jung (SMF)
Guti (CMF)
Frabegas (CMF)
J. Baptisa (CMF)
M. Saldago (SB)
Raul Bravo (SB)
I. Helguera (CB/CMF)
Kompany (CB)
Marshall (GK)
*dunno still got left out any or not tongue.gif - really seldom play these days sweat.gif*

moved to 6 stars difficulties

In the beginning of the season, Steven Gerrard was at top form scoring 3 goals in 2 matches. Perhaps this new formation helped in overall team performance. First game of the season against a big club (forgot name again doh.gif) and Raul opened his scoring sheet of the season. Soon later the goal was equalised, but S. Gerrard reclaim the lead with a spectacular left foot volley from freekick (just like the one he scored against Chelsea laugh.gif). Then, into Champions League playoff and once again S. Gerrard showed the value that paid for him during transfer.. Scored all 2 goals against A. Madrid, nearly hattrick summore thumbup.gif.. but sad case is that he's limping off the field after 60 minutes of play - kena slided from behind doh.gif

Stevie G received minor injury and need to be rested for one week. Then played few matches more but couldn't remember who and the score when I'm typing this sweat.gif.. But one thing, selection between Ronaldo and Cisse really crucial now. Dijbril Cisse showing he's good scoring at least one goal in all 4 last matches of last season. However, he's struggling in the beginning of the season but Ronaldo stealed his show by showing impressive run and scored few goals. Yet both of them not really as stable as Raul yet.

A week later, Steven Gerrard recovered and I put him on the field immediately.. (oh mine, what a stupid decision doh.gif), he discovered injury during half-time and then need to be rested for 2 weeks. Guti, Frabegas or Baptisa hardly fill his position. Forced to lost and draw once in the league sad.gif

*that's all I can remember for now, adios smile.gif*

QUOTE(jiwa @ Oct 10 2005, 11:02 AM)
Yeah the most ridiculous thing is patchers getting flamed. People put in so much hard work, also kena temabk cukup-cukup. Then some ppl got the guts to ask, to change the menu background lah, change the music lah.

As for players,  vearn, maybe take a look closely at you development charts to base your decision. Also take not of age/remaining contract time. I also look at salary a lot, since once you move to higher level of difficulty you can't win the league/cups/wefa every time. So, keeping a healthy cashflow is important.

All comment  based on my WE9:

Owen, is still improving but will start decline in 2-3 years. WIth good and varied training, I have managed to keep his growth above normal the development chart (ie. he's improved more than he should).

As you said, Zidane is great but Stamina sucks big-time. Even training don't help much. And his contract is going to expire, might as well get something for him, and get a new player with lower salary.

Ronaldo is on the decline, albeit a slow gradual one. You can't help by training, since we can't stop decline i all areas.

Robinho is growing and he's peak is about 25-26yrs i think. So I play him sometimes, but he's not a regular 1st eleven (unlike real life). IN a couple of years should be better.

For new players, (Like ur Stevie G), check the teamwork %. 2 thing to check.
1- The players twk %.
2. Team work rating with other players in Formatiion screen. At 'Individual' either select 'Attack' or 'Edit Position' Then toggle Triangle to switch the formation scrrent ill you can see lines between each player. The % number tell you how good the understanding is between players.

Play the same group together long enough, and the number will rise. As this number rises, in-game the runs these palyers make will be more accurate to recieve passes between each other.  Another place you can look at the passes between palyers is the post match details screen. This is a great feature of WE/PES that is sometimes not understood. For CF is not very important, since the need just to finish, but for OMF,CMF it realy makes a difference.

MOst of us don't look at this screen often enough. But analysing your performance is key to getting the best out of the formation/tactics we set. YOu can get so much info here. For instance I once notice that my CF fatigued easily. Upon checking he was  all over the pitch, and tracking back too much. Then I realised it was because how I set my offnece and defence arrows. Also Noticed his zones overlapped with the OMF and therefore had 2 players crowding the same space. Tweak a little and coverage was so much better, and he's not tired out so much.
Back to palyers; since I don't play with default ML team, but Match Mode players, first thing I do is look at the development charts. Then Transfer list all those who are on the decline. Problem is in Konami's games, you cant TRADE players that are transfer listed. So keep the big earners off the transfer list and use them to trade. Another thing I dont like is only 1 for 1 trades. I mean I want to get a good player, but I cant offer 2 of my players for him.

Cheers vearn

Yupz.. those ppl not contributing any but asking a lot of thingy.. it's like the patchers deserve to do it for them.. Hey, c'mon~! They got their life too.. The big voice, Reefur also chao and open up a forum of his own doh.gif

Hm... I did look at the salary (but it's pointless later coz I'll hav a bunch of points sweat.gif) when searching for players but didnt really look thou to their development chart unsure.gif

Thankx for ur advise... will look thru it thumbup.gif

PS2 for me. Its the platform the game was designed for. All others are just ports. However with PC you may get better graphics resolution.. However tuning the game to variety of system specs and h/w config can be a pain. With PS2 just pop in in and play as it was designed.

Must add though, patching is a breeze on PC.

Cheers.
*
Another additional pro for com, they can play on9 thou thumbup.gif

That's why I'm getting myself a PS2 Controller to PC adapter so that I can use my PS2 Controller to play the game on PC for on9 games. But I'm still wondering thou whether the controls and response will be the same like PS2 unsure.gif..

When talking about patching, there's also a lot of patching work done for PS2.. but so far Reefur (the best I tried) haven't release their patch for WE9 and still in the making of the translation (pretty sad but we couldn't ask for more, they're doing it for free wink.gif).. When talking about hardware bottleneck, actually WE8 already taken up more it can from PS2, that's why the lagging problem appeared.. however, it's then fixed when WE9 released. I'm pretty sad when enjoying WE8 back then due to the lagging.. which spoil the fun a lot especially during corner taking, free kick or in da penalty box.. For that reason, I bought myself a PS2 Network Adapter so that I can load the game into HDD and well, it's much faster then thumbup.gif

No lah vearn, the WE8 is first attempt at online code. Not fine tuned yet. Thats why lagging. With PES5 should be tuned out already. I thought you needed 'ori' to play online, else you get kicked off/banned.

I hate lagging/slowdown. I don't mind if some of the graphics are toned down like stadium banners and such as long as gameplay is smooth. Smooth but not too fast I must add.

As for online, fun as it may be,I feel  there are lot of cheaters online, who for me really spoil the fun of playing. Unless can find like minded 'kaki', I rather call my buddies over to my place, and have some decent multiplayer via the multitap. Too bad now I'm in Penang, cannot find any serious players yet. The few that I've met play on PC. If in KL, different story, many of my old kaki there.

Thats why this Raya, going down for some serious WW/PES gametime with my cousins/friends. Got 2 multitaps ready, so should have some real fun 3v3.

Eh.. I thought it's the graphic in WE8 that made the game lagging when a lot of players crowded on the screen? This problem then can be solved by installing the game into HDD as HDD load faster than a DVD on PS2 unsure.gif.. in WE8LE *which has on9 mode too*, the lagging problem already fixed a bit but since then I already started to load the game from HDD via PS2 to play thumbup.gif (loading is much faster)

Yupz.. I too hate slowdown or lagging that really spoil the fun of the game.. earlier I didnt move to WE8 and stay with WE7I bcoz of the slowdown or lagging issue. Later then only I moved to WE8LE when it's released and I bought myself a PS2 Network Adapter to play the game on HDD tongue.gif *I also started my WE patching since then laugh.gif*.

Pace in the game is really another thing, it's more accurate and realistic this time around in WE9 compared to WE8LE. Not too fast and not too slow, really suit a soccer game well. Players response also needed to be judge correctly else the ball going loose biggrin.gif

Hm... it seem that Park really 'effective' on the field providing most goals for ur club, alienLYN smile.gif

I had him in my team too, but not the first lineup anymore after Kaka was in. The most I played him on the left or the right, he really got the pace to run the ball forward down the 2 flanks to provide opportunities of scoring. However, I didnt feel any other better from him other than his pace.. (perhaps I didnt play him for other position around sad.gif)..

So far, he only scored 2 goals for my club for the time 1 season ++ he's here.. which is twice in a match. Only one match he scored by other mean.. Kaka also haven't provide any goal since the transfer for more than 10 matches he's in the first lineup.. But well, it could be my formation because my right is more important than my left with Beckham is there nod.gif

He surprisingly scores quite a few in the D1 Cup but not in the league. Still has headache in where to put him(LM? RM? AM?). Usually use him in matches except big games (Arsenal, Chelsea etc), than i'll use the old guard(Giggs, Scholes)  tongue.gif

I have a questoin bout crossings in PES 5, is there any difference compared to PES4? i seem to not able to score with crossing and corners  huh.gif
*
Icic.. that's why I love this game a lot.. many unpredictable thingy thumbup.gif *really like real life, sometime player's performance depend on season also nod.gif*

Just like Ronaldo in my club, for the 1st and 2nd season, he barely score or penetrate the opponent's defence. Always lost possesion of the ball or failed to shot.. then Dijbril Cisse whom I bought in the 2nd season perform very impressively. He can score quite well, although still not good enough to dribble to drive in, but the range within the penalty box... just hit the [SQUARE] and there's a high chance of scoring. He able to kick powerful and accurate blow.

Then I put him to the 1st lineup and drop Ronaldo, in the final 4 matches of 2nd season.. Cisse still adding up to his score sheet in each match. Then when it came to 3rd season (which I'm playing now), he become what happened to Ronaldo. Failed to score and hold possesion of the ball each time.. then substituted with Ronaldo and even making Ronaldo in the 1st lineup, he scored very well shocking.gif (I mean Ronaldo).. wahaha.. that's why I really love this game thumbup.gif

Now I'm confused whether to start with Ronaldo or Cisse each time, playing them as rotation now. Raul still the best at the moment. Although sick of his pace, but then he wouldn't disappoint u from scoring biggrin.gif

vearn27, wana ask... the regulate training options. What about it? how does it work? some times after i press it, my players become blue arrow(which means low stamina rite? i dont really know what all those arrow thingy means. Just that red means gud and blue means no gud  tongue.gif )
*
The 'regulate training option' is to 're-adjust' ur player's condition (or normally we said the 'form' of a player in life tongue.gif). The arrows show pretty easy understandable which 'arrow pointing up' [RED] is the BEST form or condition of that player and 'arrow pointing down' [GRAY] is the WORST. Normal condition is 'arrow pointing horizontally' [GREEN].. where then [YELLOW] is better and [BLUE] is worse. It then effect the player's performance in the game where like when the player is at his better form, he tend not to fatique so easily and perform better (such as running faster, more agile, shooting more powerful and accurate, etc). Then vice versa applies (such as fatique more faster, more prone to injury, lower reaction, etc.) to the opposite form nod.gif..

*I'm pretty blur when explaining this, can understand? sweat.gif*

another question from me guys biggrin.gif

i choose 2 player game in normal Match Mode
before the match starts, i check the player condition n formation
i always notice some of the player will be in a 'bad' form
how to make all the Match Mode players to be in 'good' form ?
can we change something in the option or wat ?

well u know,if i beat my fren they will give an excuse..
'my key striker is not in good form...if not i already score 3 goal just now'
laugh.gif

There's a setting there in the match mode when choosing stadium, difficulty level, entrance, etc. U can choose whichever 'arrow' u liked for all players thumbup.gif

Yosh... yesterday played a few matches more and now Real Madrid is qualified to play in the Champions League after leading in the qualifying table with 13 points from 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 lost (eventually lost 3-0 in the last match doh.gif) thumbup.gif

Real Madrid's top player and top scorer, Steven Gerrard once again showed remarkable performance for the team after recovered from an injury. Rated just behind Ronaldinho with 0.01 in FIFA Best Midfielders, he added 2 more goals to his scoring sheet in da league from 3 matches and rated as player of the match in each match (izzit the 'star' in individual performance after a match refered as the 'player of the match'? tongue.gif). Unpredictable accurate passing, long range shots and good interception from Stevie G lead the team to the winning way.

Ronaldo made his way back to 1st lineup after showed impressive play early in the season. Dijbril Cisse in the other way sat back on the bench. Top scorer of the Real in da league, Raul in the other way finding it's difficult for him to get the net all the time ended with only 3 goals so far from 8 league matches. The manager now is sighting to bring another forward during the up coming negotiation period. However, with the current fund.. it seem unlikely managed to secure any service of a player. Unless, some club offer for 'set for on sales players' laugh.gif.

*gotta continue to play tonite tongue.gif*

Don't know if HDD solved the lagging. Slowdown is different. Slowdown WAS the main problem in WE8/PES4.

Gamplay, he,he,he I'm a biased toward WE8:LE. I really loved that game. And I loved WE7I too. WE8,WE8I so so only for me. PES4 I hated.

WE9 is OK, but the very deep defending gets to me at time. Why do ALL teams have to paly that way, I do understand if some teams do, but ALL?

Cheers

Yupz, for me.. it really solved the lagging problem. No more lagging when a lot of players crowded on the screen. But then I had no idea what's the 'slowdown' that u r talking about.. unsure.gif

I also loved WE8LE, I first patched it with Ole Gangsta Mix Lite and then next is Reefur 1.0. However, I didnt play WE8LE patched with Reefur 1.0 because WE9 already released and then I started playing with it until now tongue.gif

Sometime I also questioned myself regarding the players and opponent's formation. Yeah, they do change formation based on their opponent's formation rather than keeping the default everytime. But then their players like got extra 'umm' than mine.. Fast and strong.. I most hated when they're playing 'heavy pressuring', 2~3 or even more players will run forward to my player who having possesion of the ball shakehead.gif. It's really fast and gave a good time to play around with it doh.gif.. I really been wondering if any setting or controls I can do to get the same effect sweat.gif
