go to the nearest DIY shop, ask the boss, they will usually tell you which paint to get - i think can be diy; but if you need their service - i think they also provide such service

QUOTE(pancelee @ Feb 15 2012, 05:18 PM) Anyone try this kind of wood covering product to upgrade old cabinets? How come the pamphlet doesn't say anything about what is actually is - coating or paint? What chemical or material. Can provide more info as i wanna upgrade my old cabinets with limited budget. Seems to me like a backyard product. Actually, applying shellac/varnish to furniture or even painting takes quite a lot of skill. You need experienced sifu to do a good job. I wouldn't try do it myself. Depends on what type of material your cupboards. If they are laminated chipboard then spray paint gua...smoother finishing. Or if they are solid wood with natural grain then perhaps shellac/varnish or timber paint but I guess first you need to sand off the old varnish/paint then apply the new coat for better finishing.
