hi bro dickson, i plan to buy a curve 3G but i was unsure of its GPS capability. since i saw you mentioned it is able to use google map do you know there is a thing called GSM GPS tracker?
it is a small little device like matchbox whereby you can place it in your car or hang it on your pet so you can track them down by calling the device, it will send coordinate through sms to your mobile and you have to trace through google earth with your gps enabled handheld.


also is it safe to buy an AP set from my local vendor since i don't want to be tied on a contract? Can i still update it to OS6 through official website under Digis? i am a Digi user.

I not really aware about this software and does it workout with BlackBerry Google Maps.. You got to ask for the expert about the external matchbox GPS device..

Buying AP are safe just make sure you check everything especially the Voice and Data timer to confirmed it is new and not recond/used... As long it is original BlackBerry 9300 3G it can support any OS6 available in market...

Cannot just subscribe BIS service RM10 alone? Must together with RM68?

yeah must pay together. same with maxis and celcom,im sure. my current maxis plan is rm40 (bis service) + rm50 (family plan)..

btw i wanna ask, is it just me, or does anyone else think that curve 3g camera is better than 8520?

It's the same. I own both the 3G and 8520 3 days ago and thought of the same thing. Tested and it is indeed very identical in terms of image quality.

yeah u have to change your normal internet plan to BIS service.. both are different.. therefore you might need to pay more for the bis..

seriously? my pictures taken on my 3g is so much better than my 8520.. wouldnt be too sure.. could be the lighting position or something

You subscribed to BIS or not? Me not yet....

I am currently using the prepaid BIS service for a while before changing my Postpaid with BIS.

Seems that subscribe to BIS also facing this problem...
Then how to join public wifi? I also heard that this is a common problem for bb is it?

Ya and my friends don't receive any invitation when i invite them on BBM. Weird ><

Select your home hub network from the list and then the pop up will appear asking you about the PIN. If you scroll down and select 'Cancel' you should be able to enter your normal password.

you mean with wifi? you'll know if u're using your wifi connection when u see the wifi logo grey/black and white..
