A lot of people got the wrong impression that things are expensive abroad when they start to convert it to RM. What they don't understand is that their income is more than ours and their currency is much stronger than RM. Just like singapore where everything is cheaper than malaysia when you earn and spend there because they make more than us and the price of goods are always half price compare to ours. In other words for the same income, they can buy more things than us.
Very well said. Purchasing power is the keyword, many people have a general misconception of comparing our price with overseas price.
