Well, the vast array of VPN access support (Cisco, PPTP, Juniper SSL VPN) on the iPad is what motivates me to carry it around all the time, rather than carrying a full-fledged netbook which is much more heavier in order for me to support my customers on the go. icon_idea.gif

Its not jut the ipad only.  Everything thing in malaysia is expensive because our income is measly and our currency has no spending power.  A lot of people got the wrong impression that things are expensive abroad when they start to convert it to RM.  What they don't understand is that their income is more than ours and their currency is much stronger than RM.  Just like singapore where everything is cheaper than malaysia when you earn and spend there because they make more than us and the price of goods are always half price compare to ours.  In other words for the same income, they can buy more things than us.

Very well said. Purchasing power is the keyword, many people have a general misconception of comparing our price with overseas price. The expensive goods overseas are balanced out by the high income, but back here, expensive goods matched with everly low income, seems rather unbalanced.

Yeah, is true that purchasing power at Malaysia is low. But there still ppl buy those over price items, whether it is cars or electronic.
Made me wonder, is Malaysia  full of rich ppl?

Over priced indeed, and yet I just saw a notice at Machines KLCC limiting only 3 iPad purchase per customer... iPad/iPhone 4 selling like hot cakes? hmm.gif

Noob question here:

Is CC the only payment method to buy games from the apps store? I saw Apple prepaid/gift coupons, but presumably you need to use a CC to purchase it first?

I have a Public Bank VISA CC. Can it be used to buy apps?
