Linux Mint 10 is the latest offer by them, customised gnome de and based on maverick 10.10. Some reviews say that Linux Mint 10 more polished in term of everything compared to it's parent Ubuntu. Just around the corner they'll release LMDE (Linux Mint Debian Edition) 32 and 64 after their successful 'trial' of first LMDE.

opensuse 11.3 Downloading their .iso is not a day job for 4.7gb in size, they are offering trillions of offline apps in a single DVD. To get restricted multimedia formats you have to add repos manually which can be easily obtained from their forum. Each releases would be every 9 month and the next 11.4 scheduled on March next year.

back track, good for penetration and security purpose, this distribution is a hit for decrypt the wpa/wep. Use it for educational purpose. But their forum is not for noobs asking without searching in within first, else you'll be scold. Typical, elite distro selalu itu macam.

Newer PC will be okay with Linux Mint 10. Older PC will have problem with screen resolution problem. I have Mint 10 install on my Pentium 4 but I cannot set the screen resolution higher than 800X640. This problem also happen on Ubuntu 10.10. At time of writing the problem still cannot be solve, no choice but to install back 10.04 on the Pentium 4
