1.I plan to buy mozart 7 for my wife as now this unit price drop almost half compare its launching price (correct me if i am wrong). my budget is around 1k. Anyway, other the htc mozart, what else can i choose , any diff between mozart and hd7 or throphy ?

2. is current os allow to run multitasking like andriod / ios ? sorry for stupid question.

3. any user facing slow or hang with this OS ?

4. can this OS support chinese input and read in sms/ social networking tools / msn / IE ?

cmon... normally they will push the update according to batch. so those who purchase earlier will normally get it faster.

purpose of doing that is they do not wanna overload their server.

Yeah. Win8 is looking tasty. And with them going the 1 ecosystem route, all the better to get a wp7 fon. People say metro is ugly, bt i love the way it looks. And its super smooth.

the answers:

1) depends.... my favorite is HD7 but I ended up getting Mozart cos the price is really attracting with ORIGINAL warranty somemore... if budget and time is not your concern, by all means waiting for HTC Titan... will most likely available in October or November. However, considering that it is your wife who will be using it, I would suggest Mozart for its looks and size... not much lady I know likes big phone

2) Current OS is still not available to run multitasking... imagine it is like iPhone 3GS back then where when you close the app, it is closed... but fear not.... Mango update will bring multitasking function back, which should be arrived in just a week or so (hopefully)

3) Nope for me... even if you did feel the sluggish interface, it is due to the app poor coding... however do take note that there are some Mozart users responding that their Mozart's screen is not responsive... I experienced once before... but restarting the phone solved the problem...

4) yes, there are some apps help to input chinese characters.... but very troublesome... then again, heard that upcoming Mango updates will have chinese language pack pre-installed... so this should not be a problem once Mango hits the shore..

1. Mozart is ok I think then trophy ... if u can get samsung better screen

2. Current NoDo OS or later cant do any multi tasking .... Mango the next OS release can do it

3. As of now no hangs or slow .... especially running on Mango

mango is codename for the major update of windows phone

It's the upcoming updates for our windows phone... A major one that will bring in multitasking, give the developers access to more I. Depth configuration so that they can create more apps that were seen in other devices such as vibers, whatsapp etc...

wasnt too sure. but i have a copy of clean dev unlock 7392 backup. just in case the RTM 7720.68 was not the official one. because i heard the official one have hide wifi option.

most likely yes ... need to downgrade to NoDo
but dunno if after the unlock in NoDo then still can unlock in Mango with all the hack available since M$ also knows the hacking ....
if nothing new then ill stick to my current leaked Mango
