Well, my account already tied to a credit card when use on XBOXLive so that just carried over.

maybe you can try attaching the payment method on the Xbox live website and see, instead of using the phone.

Also, what region is your account?

ok, try one last thing. Go here

http://live.xbox.com

Login using the LiveID you used for your phone... you might be asked to create a GamerTag, do so.

Now in the upper right hand corner of the page, you'll see your login information.

- Click on Add Points
- Select the least amount of points and then click NEXT.
- You'll be brought to a payment screen asking you about payment type.
- Add a new Credit Card.
- LIE about your address, Google a Singapore address and use it, but keep your name, and other credit card information legit.
- Click on SAVE, if your card gets validated you'll see it on the list of credit cards. If not it'll complain about failure to validate.
- Once validated DO NOT complete the purchase of the Microsoft Points obviously, once you have a card in your account it'll be accesible by your phone.

I still cant buy anything from marketplace...this happens since i tried to buy my third apps...

Hmmm... let me guess, you bought a lot of stuff in quick sucession right? What card are you using, give the Customer Support a call and see if they blocked any transactions. Sometimes they might raise warning flags when seeing too many online transactions at once.

Well.. give your CC company a call and see. TuneMoney... that wouldn't happen to be a prepaid card would it? how much balance is in the card? My experience with the Ambank one long long time ago was that you needed a minimum balance to perform certain transactions. ie. To pump gas your card needed at least RM100 in it.

First problem with the *116*2# menu stuff. That can't be helped, it's a known issue. Hopefully it'll be fixed with Mango... say.. has anyone with Mango tried the menu yet?

As for entering numbers while in a call, The in call dialog, left side has a End Call button, right side has a down arrow that has some additional functions. Middle of it there's something that looks like a KEYPAD... so guess what that does? tongue.gif

No need to be digi postpaid, all telcos have that menu which does something. Can't say I remember what each telcos is.

You flashed it before u even tried putting ur SIM in?

U can check if the phone is Telco binded by going settings -> about and see if there's a carrier setting

But it doesn't mean the phone is locked if you have a carrier mark

Just plug the phone in and then go into settings, under the phone section you can find an UPDATE option where you can manually do an update scan.

Depends on the game, usually they'll let you play a few levels so you get a feel for the game to encourage you to buy the game.

alright, i downloaded the [TRY].
will it be having a specific period of trial period in the apps or will it automatically purchase it if after the trial period?
*
No it won't expire or be automatically purchased, you're free to play with the trial as long as you want unless the developer got some crazy ideas. In which case you just need to uninstall and reinstall the trial.

It will NEVER (as far as I know) be able to auto purchase the game because it must pass through the Marketplace UI

Yeah.. BT file transfers aren't supported yet.

Not just games, but apps also have trial versions. So even if you see that an app costs money, remember to check the details and see if the TRY button appears. Hopefully MS will indicate a trial is available in the list in Mango so we dont have to waste one click to find out whether an app has a trial mode.

MS can't control the exact delivery time for the OEMs, hopefully the disconnect trick will still work for us to force updates.
