y am i getting error for apps deployment by windows ?
it says that i nid to unlock the screen and have unlocked developer device .
i have unlock d screen so i guess its a locked device .
how to sideload like this ? T_T please help me T_T

I am using HTC HD7 with Exchange Active Sync, and I am surprised that the battery is the killer. Consumption is very high and anyone has able to find task manager?

follow the steps below:-

1. download chevronWP7 certificate and chevronWP7 unlocker.

2. attach chevronWP7 certificate to an email and send to you WP7 email account.

3. download the email attachemnt(do not save the certificate). execute the certificate in the email.

4. connect you phone to the desktop/laptop. and turn on Zune.

5. go to c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc and search for a file called "host". right click the files and select properties. uncheck "read only"

6. Make sure Zune and your phone are connected then run the chevronWP7 unlocker.

7. check the 2 box and click on Unlock.

try to disbale Zune auto start when phone connected. or else the next time you connected ya phone to that desktop/laptop. it will lock again. so u have to repeat steps 1 - 7 again to unlock.


to sideload, make sure you donwload windows phone 7 SDK first.

if dont start zune, how to load apps dude ?
i tot must be connected to zune in order to sideload apps ?

I have to ask this. Are there any non-marketplace apps out there? Any worth sideloading? Because right now it seems that the only thing chevron is good for is like to have file access and custom ringtones. Anyone care to shed more details?

1.Go in to your Settings on WP7.

2.Click on region and language

3.From Region Format, select English (United States)

4.Click on the link which says ” Some changes will require that you restart your phone. “

5.After reboot go in to Pocket IE and click the 3 dot in the bottom right and choose settings, Make sure Pocket IE is set to mobile version and NOT the desktop version. You can access it from the settings on Pocket IE.

6.Click on delete history

7.Enjoy youtube on any website on Pocket IE.
