the setting you have chosen already explained its own function.

Raw meaning the R200 will not do any single job of downmixing, just passthru all sound signal to the AVR to do the decoding job.

LCPM 2CH is downmixing job done by R200 and then pass the signal out to AVR to output. AVr cannot decode DTS or AC3 anymore since it already been downmixed to stereo by R200.

There is no HDMI sound off option currently. As we know, Xtreamer has this function, not too sure about other Realtek brands in the market.

Hi,

Different chipset will give different sound/picture quality, hence newer chipset improves over the older version.

Sometimes, price will tell us, the higher normally means better specification in terms of hardware or accesories, sometimes performance maybe same if chipset is same model. No general rule of thumb. It is a matter of individual preference of hardware, software, and design of casing.

Latest firmware added alot of online channels for users to choose.

Been some test on my 1.5Mbps Streamyx, able to run Online China TV, PPTV, PPS, and etc.....

This is an additional features which is not promised to work (but it work now ) under Realtek 1185.

I'm using Xtreamer Wifi N Dongle (Realtek 8191SU).

The PPS with VIP account.

I managed to get it run, under Realtek 1073 model, it is not able to play.

But R1-II using Realtek 1185 chipset with latest upgraded firmware, I am able to get it run.

That's a good news.

HDD mount in model will come later....

Did some test on the IMS features on R1-II.

Using Streamyx 4Mbps, can stream LeTV, Youku smoothly using IP 175.45.xx.xxx. other IMS also can function.

However, this IP cannot support PPS.

When I test under Streamyx 1.5Mbps, using IP 115.xxx.xxx.xxx, PPS can be play smoothly but seems no sound coming out. Other IMS can be played but not smooth, due to speed not fast enough.

Anyway it is a nice addon to have although our line maybe restriction to play it smoothly.
