I think Carrefour offer the best deal...Jusco only discount on display units. If budget permits, i say go straight to 40" LCD. Only around RM2K or less. You can get a Toshiba for RM1.8k and Sharp for RM1.9k outside.
Size does matters.
Another thing. If you can find it cheaper by RM200 or more outside, i suggest u buy elsewhere and save your voucher for something else like groceries. At least those prices won't vary much.

QUOTE(antisushi @ Dec 16 2010, 10:42 AM) Thanks for the heads-up guys I've tried playing on a 40'', it really gives a good feel on the game. My concern: is 40'' too big and heavy to carry it frequently around in my car as back and forth? Can anyone recommend other shops that are offering great deal on LCD TV at the moment? Cheers guys. Er...why do need to carry ur LCD TV in ur car back and forth!!!! If u want portable gaming, better buy PSP...

QUOTE(antisushi @ Dec 16 2010, 12:24 PM) I've tried LCD projector, with external speakers, the colors are not so 'punchy' and quite dark. The maintenance is also high. 32'' weighs 11kg, while 40'' is around 18kg. I guess I'll try to lift up 2 of that 10kg of rice bags to find out how heavy that 40'' is. 18Kg is no big deal lar...my 5 years old son oready 22kg...but to carry such a huge piece, must be careful coz the size of the thing is huge and you must balance it while carry. It's not about weight, but rather the risk of accidental flipping over. I seriously won't recommend u transporting ur LCD to and fro frequently...bad idea.
