i solvve my capping problem with the only way that can be used. TM as we know as screamyx is under MCMC.

i was paying for 1mbps and i got 0.4mbps. i reported to TM a few times and they only tried to reset the port with their standard line "ada maintainnence kat building dekat cause disruption"

i didnt know their maintainence will go on for 1 year hmmm..
due to my work i need a stable connection, was stable a few years back and now it has frequent dc. after that they changed the port for me and solve the dc issues.

now lately about capping speed. i straight away cant work. wtf. called tm cs and they say no such thing no capping as they claim. zzz

i had no other choice but to report to http://www.skmm.gov.my/
i wrote a detailed report about capping and i have proff that they are allocation speed for unifi. as alot of my friends also has tested streamyx speed with unify at the same building. to our shock. unifi at the same building can reach 10x faster than streamyx. and streamyx cant even hit 1mbps. nvm, i reported anyway, and they called me 2 days later.

they send me an email regarding my issue, then 2 days later tm senior techs came to my place to resolve my issue. now i regain speed and torrents/direct download can hit 100kbps and above, aparently they open a new 2 or 4 mbps port to balance my speed out.

my opinion, tm scared of skmm, u complain to them, they will be in deep shit. they have to comply with the higher authority, hence they are forced to fix consumer that complain to skmm.

this is my personal experience. my home is still running on that speed, stable, fast, and totaly wad i paid for.

let me tell share the details of how i report.
First,
i screen shot www.speedtest.net result and tm speed test making sure both are lower than 0.4 or 0.5mbps.

Then,
I write a report that im paying for 1mbps but i cant even reach half, also state that ive been a consumer of streamyx for so many years now you give me this problem cause me to be very unsatisfied. must state that your speed was tested without download, pure speed. then you say direct download cannot hit 0.5mbps. dont state torrent as its illegal to them.

then,
speak out how unsatisfied you are, add some salt sugar and spices to make them feel that you are abit pissed off. but bare in mind, you are asking them for help, so, be polite also.

Then,
end your complain with a thanks and please get back to me as soon as possible.

this was what i did, they solved my problem abouty 2 months ago when me and my friends stated detecting slow speed from torrent server.

btw some say they block some torrent tracking servers too. lol
