DPS

• Abbreviation of Damage Per Second
  
• Used to describe party roles that are specialized in dealing damage
  

Party roles

• Tank - Typically the party leader; Responsible for making sure all enemies are attacking him/her, instead of the other party members; Most important role in any party (biased)
  
• Healer - Heals the tank. Period; Okay, maybe the other team members on certain occasions.
  
• DPS - Deals damage; Responsible for dying if they don't follow the tank's orders, aka "You pull, you tank"
  

Instance

• A sectioned-off area that is only accessible and seen by player(s) involved
  
• Typically a synonym to dungeons
  
• Since the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, instances are generated outside of dungeons during certain quests, a feature Blizzard calls "phasing".
  

Hunter pets won't even leave a scratch on plate 
I've seen warlock, priest, DK pets doing more than my pet.

Hunters are so gimped now 

Okay, just kidding about the hunters being gimped part, truth is, as I said, to even stay level with other classes, you need to put in a LOT of extra effort.

Good thing about being a hunter, is that you see very few of them in random dungeons nowadays. I've only bumped into TWO hunters so far, each on different occasions in random groups in my ENTIRE leveling progress from 1-77. Most of the time, I see mages, DKs, druids, warriors, the first two being the favorite
