the iphone don't need a wifi connection?...i tried mine but it can't...

both device need facetime and wifi connection. The only way without using wifi connection is jailbreak.

Hi I m thinking of getting a use iPad 1 wifi.. Does it make any diffeference if it's local Or oversea set? Any concerns I shd b wary about? Thx guys

I have some queries regarding my iPad 2, some of them may be very noob but this is my first Apple product so please bear with me.

1. When I first connect to iTunes it prompted me I'm connecting to 2/5 PCs allowed, where is the first PC?

2. I tried to register iTunes but they rejected both my local CC despite I'm using one of them to purchase my iPad from Apple store. Are local CC not accepted?

3. There's a PDF file I have added to my library but I have to resync it everytime I connect the iPad despite the file is already in the iPad. And once I deleted the file from my PC the file will disappear on my iPad as well when I sync it again.

1 ) Authorization for number of PC , i think this is for iTunes account not PC , correct me if im wrong.

2) To register a iTunes account you DON'T need CC account to create , ONLY you wanna purchase item in itunes than u put ur own CC number.

3)Learn the word "synchronize"

1. Could be, since I'm using my wife's account now.

2. I'm afraid I was asked when creating it even when I haven't attempted any purchase.

3. Know the word "synchronize" but still don't understand why, for any other files they are one off sync, just that particular file have to be sync every time connected otherwise it will disappear from my iPad

2) If you wanna register an account just to download free app , u dont need to put CC number , if u want to do purchase for app , then u put ur CC number , if doest not work than u must be type wrong.

It is itunes account you are using on a 2 of 5 allowed.

Your account initially registered with a US address, thus local cc not accepted. Register a new malaysia address account and be able to use your local cc to purchase.

Pc synced to ipad, dont delete from pc since your pc have lots of space hehe

Tried again and again and it still doesn't work. Oh and for whatever reason it says my state/province is invalid, saying minimum 3 characters yet I can only choose from the list of options all containing 2 characters and cannot manually enter it. If I change my state the it's ok

For question 3 I think I have sorted it out, that has got something to do with the iTunes media folder which I accidentally enabled during my first usage

My question is , do you planning to do purchase on iTunes ?
