Just found a problem with Darky 6.0. Google Maps opens with FC - in fact anything to do with GM like Navigation, Maps all FC. Damn. Lucky I have Titanium Backup set completed just this morning. Am gonna flash a fresh stock XXJPX first, then CF-Root, and finally apply Darky 6.0 again.

Hmm, maybe it was because when I was on 5.6, I had applied a market update for Google Maps.
*
I had no such issue, can open GMap ect..
I am also previously on v5.6 and did the google aps(map, search, ect) via market.

Won't you also need the codecs/drivers etc?
*
I just need the videoplayer apps.
I think no need the drivers ect as DHD already can play much of video files/codec using free rockplayer.

Guys,
I'm in the middle of Sg. Klang :-

Attached Image

My location kinda messup since I upgrade Darky v6.0 from v5.6
Map loading fast but "my location" is somewhat very far from acceptable accuracy.

Running map over wifi or Digi 3g produce same result.

That's good  thumbup.gif

Anyway, from the listing. The problem I can see here is the VP6 video codec. If you wanted to play with stock player, then need to encode using other video codec.

QUOTE(lch78 @ Dec 21 2010, 04:12 PM)
I think it is your pixel. Stock vid player can't play 1024x768. I encounter once. Can't figure out why then...
*
thanks for the input guys.
4 ur info the video guide series got more than 85 videos in single DVD (double layer) total = more than 7GB
It will be like forever if I want to encoded that to other codec or resize the vid size..huhu
look like me need to just ignore those annoying rockplayer watermark again..

There is another player called arcMedia. Play as much files type like Rockplayer without the "R" watermark. But the interface is not as good as rockplayer. You might want to try it out.
*
thanks, will try that out later.

QUOTE(kmrdeva @ Dec 21 2010, 04:40 PM)
You can always consider paying for paid version. Rockplayer is tied to your IMEI (i.e. activation).
*
that is what I dun like.
usually if we paid for video player for pc we can use them to any other our own pc/lappy(use the serial activation method).
but this rockplayer bloodsucking money charge per-phone..can't use the pay apps to other phone..if I sell the phone the program also gone law..have to paid again for the new phone..sigh! mad.gif
