QUOTE(nasrulbond @ Dec 19 2010, 01:19 AM) oh u flash with stock jpu? i flash with jm8 you know, then cannot boot to the homescreen. luckily i oledy put the CWM and Darky 5.6 in internal sd, flash and so far everything is okay. No FCs at all. yup! I am flashing stock JPU at the beginning clean install Darky 5.6Someone said that Samsung seems to have fixed the lags of RFS in 2.2.1(stock XXJPU), so no need additional Lagfix (Darky has disable voodoo by default on v.6). http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...&postcount=6877 QUOTE(kinmin888 @ Dec 19 2010, 01:21 AM) it should be there.I've no problem finding them. you are on Darky or stock rom? |

QUOTE(klwong99 @ Dec 19 2010, 02:50 AM) for someone still like to use KIES on JPU, pls refer following instruction: that is one nice little mod..http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=9839978 Samsung should implement that to SGS in the 1st place. My HTC DHD even older Nokia symbian does have those features popup when we plugin the usb data cable. |

Accordingly, The firmware update feature, which affects the ability to upgrade to Android 2.2, is temporarily disabled until a solution is released. QUOTE(nicholasbeh @ Dec 19 2010, 09:39 PM) Did saw the same video few days back too when everyone whining about it..much of the tech people said that SGS locked the fps, the reason its locked because sgs want to produce real like experience. like gaming environment, 50fps is enough to simulate real life movement. much over that speed may result unrealistic movement..too fast, much like charlie chaplin shows. |

QUOTE(kmrdeva @ Dec 20 2010, 08:56 AM) Referring to posts http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...&postcount=7424 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...&postcount=7428, I think the process is a direct 5.6 -> 6.0 upgrade via CWM. Plus after 2nd boot, maybe you will need to boot back into CWM to re-enable voodoo lagfix. Yup, just got the confirmation on direct CWM to v6 at xda forum. Will try this later today. I am no need the lagfix since many said that SGS XXJPX already got lagfixed builtin. That's the main reason why Darky disable the lagfix by default. QUOTE(| K e e | @ Dec 20 2010, 09:06 AM) hmm darky v6 xxjpx .. got something i really wan .... it also fixed USB mount bugs and sudden battery drop below 100 after the full charge.- v6.0 •Now based on the OFFICIAL XXJPX (Android 2.2.1) •All changes from v5.6 are ported to v6.0 •New Voodoo Kernel [JPX + Voodoo] [by supercurio] •Updated Google Apps (like Gmail, Maps, Youtube etc.) •Cleaner ROM structure •InfoAlarm.apk is back to prevent errors in the alarm clock •Fixed most bugs from the JPU base •Higher quality PNGs - same size •Changed the way the ROM installs - Clean Guide is not needed anymore •Disabled Lagfix when installing (now it does really disable Voodoo) •New black & transparent Phone Dialer [by Cruznec] •Fixed Kies Connection •Added Screenfilter to go lower than the standard brightness [very useful for the night] •Fixed minor bugs •Updated 3D Gingerbread Launcher •Added Nexus S LiveWallpaper [by santiemanuel] •New Patched 3D Gallery [High Resolution // No Battery Drain // Faster than every other gallery app // Changed icon to stock Samsung Gallery] •Updated Market to v2.2.7 [fixed all problems] •Faster Performance - Smoother UI. •Better GPS - Faster Fix. •Faster Browser - Smooth like silk. •Fixed USB Mount Bugs [external SD's] •Smoother Notification Bar •Improved Battery Life [JPX] •Fixed Battery Bug [it drops directly below 100% when you unplug it] |
