hi, i just wanna ask... why some of the official google apps (e.g. gmail, youtube and voice search) cannot be found in market? is it because malaysian android market does not have the apps or the update for the apps yet? what are the options to update or install these apss besides rooting the phone? p/s: i googled the apk files for google maps version 4.7 and managed to found a few? is it safe to install it via unofficial site. all helps are greatly appreciated.thanks.

hi,
i did...but as i mentioned in the first post...the option that im looking for is the one besides rooting my phone.since i haven't root my phone...sorry about that.
is there any other way?
the only way i could think of is to download the apk file somewhere and install it...but is it safe and reliable?

i guess we just have to wait and wait and wait...thats the only option available. it is ironic when free official google apps are not available to be updated in android market which is developed by google...even more ironic when other devs' free apps are available. Added on December 17, 2010, 2:05 amnow google maps is on version 5 with 3d tilt feature and vector graphic and we cant still have it.damn!!!
