hurray!!!!~~ i juz came back from proton edaran.... ~!test drive and booked!!  next week can get my car.............!!!!! they 100% told me can settle for me.... rebate 1000 and a [gift]...~~ muahahaha...

they said their edaran is the 1st / 2nd top edaran in malaysia...~ tats y can take car so easily and fast... [ i hope so]

My SA (COE branch) call me just now. He said my car are ready for collection already by next week. But, my loan is not approved yet by the bank? How? hm...

Congratulation!   

I was quoted RM700 for the whole car, the process takes about 6-8 hours depending on your car's condition. The warranty is given for 5 years. The only advantage is there is no more follow up sessions/treatments.

I have been working with production line before (not proton) but with others japanese manufacturer. One of my friend who previously WORK with ONE OF JAPANESE CAR MANUFACTURER told me that WHY THE BOOKING ALWAYS DELAYS. The reason is simple.. 1st BATCH is ALWAYS BECOME THE FEEDBACK BATCH FOR MANUFACTURER to IMPROVE. AND THE MOST IMPORTANT IS THERE WILL ONLY FEW HUNDRED or FEW THOUSAND TO TEST RUN ON THE ROAD by the CUSTOMER/BUYER.

Those who get their car during this first batch will become their FEEDBACK for ANY PROBLEM OCCURS.

To me those who has booked and waited for long period. I think you on second batch that AFTER IMPROVED MADE from the 1st batch of production. Better become 2nd batch of production. because this will be an improvement product.

Sorry to hilight this and no offense. (because I read to many post waited for their new car)

Below is the precious info that I got from my CRAZY experiment. However, this data is for my 1.8cvt, yours might be slightly diff:

Tank Size: exactly 60 Liter    Refuled at the R&R, some say 53L or 59L before...
Full tank went: 752km  -    nearly can cross the peninsular on the PLUS!
Engine dead after 2nd Empty Indicator Sound (reset) : 84.7km  -    now easily can still cruisin 50km after the second indicator sound b4 refuling.
FC: 12.5km/L or 7.97L/100km        not bad, huh?
agreed to the comment that might cause problem kt fuel pump and so on. Of course wont do it again... Cheers..

what I plan to do IF I opt for syntium 800, I will go change oil at a normal mechanic shop when it reaches 5k also with syntium 800, then reach 10k go back to SC for regular service again, this way i dont waste the free service and engine oil provided.

Oil filter if the mechanic shop got the exact brand, then can change also, but if dont have, I think can still use back the same and last until the 10k service interval? 

I just dont want to take risk of pushing the engine oil to 10k, dont mind to spend another RM100 to have peace of mind driving the car, is all I want,

If you talk about sport rims or rim sukan nie, I think the shop at Jalan Kapar is the best lah, it is the 4 floor building, used to be the shop they call kedai kayu, they moved to their own building now, near Caltex if I'm now mistaken but there is a petrol station nearby.

I always recommend to my friend even though from KL and even friend from KB also now bout this shop.

The price for trade in also quite high and I highly recommend these shop to those who wish to change their sport rims BUT if you go there on sunday especially, well at least it will take half of your day as there are lots of ppl during weekends.

And yes, don't ever forgot to nego, U might get good bargain like free allignment or beautiful discount.
