not thief proof?? what do you mean?

QUOTE(BLA979 @ Jan 8 2011, 07:06 PM)
Still got >50% risk??? Oh no!!!!!!
*
ya la.. if at night, thieves want to take away your car, they can always do it especially if their level are Pro already.
because if people can "install", surely got a way to "un-install".

This locks serves as a deterrent, at least if 2 same cars side by side, 1 with lock, the other without, higher probability thieves will go for the one without lock.
*touchwood*

plus, it might help to delay their work, increasing the chance for them to be spotted or what laugh.gif

exactly.

if a Porsche Cayenne can be stolen, what more an Inspira only

Both mine is 4300k, I got both headlamp lo beam and foglamp for RM350 including installation by Eric AT MY HOUSE, what more can I ask for, I just experienced the HID tonite and its a huge improvement over halogen, not glaring to other users but brighten the road significantly. No regrets buying from him, excellent service. In case you need the supplier thread, there you go: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1625308&hl=

Yeah agree about driving skills and being safe, its just personal preference as I prefer to have a clearer view of the road ahead with the help of HID, we are not living in Singapore where the roads are PROPERLY lit (singaporean drive with high beam at our highways says alot of our roads lighting skills), over here, we have alot of dark spots even in PJ or KL,
*
that i have to agree, due to our ancient local authority requirements for street lightings, never changed since the 80's

i know coz i've been designing them.

The free service voucher only provide semi-syn oil for me this morning's service but the booklet says next service due is 10000km & also they have reset the ECU reminder to show the same, so something doesn't add up here, and I am going to do my own semi-syn oil change at 5000km and the when it reaches to 10000km will got back to Proton's SC to claim the free service again
*
so where are you servicing it bro?

my mielage already 4400km sey

haha..

i know the feeling bro

QUOTE(rublik @ Jan 13 2011, 06:40 PM)
Just pay the extra and change straight to fully synthetic (petronas syn 1000) at the SC

Or be nice to mechanic at service centre and ask him for help to change using outside fully syn.

You still can take back the semi from SC
*
If have a second car, that's the best.. if not, can just sell, minor hassle..

stay inside your car, then "arm" the alarm..

then try unlocking by pushing the lock at the door there.

see if it works..

just a theory..

Quality built wise P1 sure come a long way lo to produce the quality of the plastic door laugh.gif

You can service it at PE Mutiara Damansara or PE Cheras, but better call them first, make an appointment.

I've got one question. How do you register your car warranty? I just looked at the service record booklet and noticed that there's the warranty acknowledgement receipt which says need to be sent to WMS website. I'm not sure what it is. Can someone help?

BTW, booked 1st service on next monday at PE Cheras.
*
usually it's already in the computer when u bought the car.. if not, just bring a copy of the geran to the SC, they'll register it for you

I'm getting the hang of the car's handling.. not that it's bad, but it's different. too used to the grippy handling of the Neo.

well...supportive comment. I dunno anyone feel that the body of the car is a bit thin? especially the front part and rear.

most probably psychological and the fact that the insulation & sound proofing is thin/non existent

me too..

but then again, maybe it's placebo.

took a corner while heading to Cyberjaya today, same corner i used to take with my stock neo at 80km/h, with the Inspira felt slower than my neo but speedo showing 100km/h

laugh.gif

QUOTE(DeanKueh @ Jan 17 2011, 07:52 PM)
thats because it's the local part.

i've tried comparing the rear bumper built quality of inspira and lancer the other day, the inspira rear bumper felt like it was flimsy but the lancer was solid.

just my honest opinion not trying to start a war here or anything.

no worries bro, all of us are adults.
