Cristiano Ronaldo always score his free kicks. What is his secret? When i see his shot is not has quite lot of curl, but it always dipped in. Maybe his stance before taking the kick not a fashion statement but it play part in his free kick ability. Power + Precision.
*
Its all in the shooting technique. The stance is mostly just for gaya only. Drogba takes similar freekicks but doesn't do that lansi "superman" stance.

However, the kicker must be square against the ball rather than at an angle like a Beckham freekick. To force the dip, the ball has to be hit right below the laces with the feet at a slight angle, almost like a side foot.

Of course easier said then done la. I've been trying for months now and still tak jadi2... There's a tutorial on YouTube though (two German fellas going at it). Sorry can't YouTube at work to post the link for you.

i thought we played poorly especially our attacking, very much lacking bite. how many clear / half chances did we create? maybe MU pressing so hard and high had something to do with that, but that does not hide the fact that we attacked poorly today

1-0 lost to manu is fine (in term of our current team "quality"). just focus on mickey mouse cup (AKA carling cup). Sad to say that, but just accept the fact. Hopefull VM will be back to action soon, things will be better

IMO we didn't do that bad...MU did control midfield most of the time...but MU didn't got the chance to do full attack like they did with blackburn...our keeper also didn't kene shoot with 'M-16'...IIRC only a few and one great save from rooney's floating ball...

our CD doing quite well...only sagna and clichy kene ayak teruk.... sad.gif

i'll move on and looking forward to stock game....

come on gunners..... flex.gif

It was rather an uninteresting match, sub-par performance from both team. We were lucky for 1-0 lost. It could be more if MU wanted to. Not much players were really fighting for the ball. Passing were below par from both team but its more obvious from our team, Song? Meh! Wilshere played better than him all the time. Pls get rid of him!

And again, we were against 12 players, so its a good result nonetheless. And why EPL referees always side MU? Are they been sponsored?

Arsenal is back to square 1. As usual, the team is not ready to win EPL. Perhaps next season.

Yea no doubt we played much better this season compared to previous seasons. I wish our midfields were not so lembik. B'cos of their lack of creativity, the pressure went to our defense.

It is just pure luck, the ball went in.

Arsenal must play attacking game NOT defense.

Again referee & lines men have too much respect to SAF.

How can a player escaped a card when it was so obvious the said player were giving almost similar kick like De Jong to Alonso in worldcup?

What about those fouls done by Flecther? Why no cards given to him?

we have to be flexible...thats it....we have to be able to play park the bus when situation forced us to.... we can play attack all the way but opening the only attacking option isnt what the modern football really is. Ting is when we play defense we have to relaly improve our strategy on this.
