Haha..i'm so tempting with the price, toshiba also sell 32" LCD TV for RM999. but looking for Hisense, i interested with the price offered for 32" RM 899 and 42" Full HD for RM1699. Really don't know what to choose, maybe come back today to purchase either one.

Go for the biggest screen you can afford. Frankly, i would stay away cap ayam brand like Hisense. Toshiba 40" LCD can be bought for 1.8K outside. Sharp LC500M RM1.9k (i just bought one). You can PM Kevinc66.

it doesn't makes sense to save RM100 to RM200 bucks to buy chaplang china brand. Between 40" and 42", there's really no difference.

Saw one booth demoing some dunnow what brand HD media player.....the image quality looks really good...coz the TV is a Sharp LED Quattron model with the 100Hz motion thingy!!! But i notice the movie stutter very frequently...i am pretty sure it's the player problem...and the sales guy tries to bullshit me with what makes good and bad player....

I think it's a very devious scheme....use top of the line TV to show the movie, fooling people it looks so good. Go back home and you'll lose all the image quality and left with stuttering HD movies...

Bewarre!

That's really budget TV. But I kinda disappointed with the quality of Toshiba or other not famous brand like Hisense.
Will advice go for Sony or Samsung. Currently using Sony 32bx300, HD Ready.
My bro said his 32 inch LCD LG FULL HD viewing angle and the sharpness not as good as my Sony.
But anyway, for a 32", FULL HD or HD Ready can't really see much difference.
For >32", then better get FULL HD.

the Hisense 32" is meant for bedroom only...got another Samsung 40" and Optoma HD 65 projector 80" for proper viewing pleasure...

the cool thing about Hisense is thatit gives full insurance coverage for 1 year...meaning that if u break your tv also, they'll cover...

rm899 + 3 year warranty is really a good psychological cheap price for a tv i guess...was tempted to get the 42" also but too big for a small room ler haha ...somemore this brand is sold in Courts too...guess it's not that bad...if it works for more than 3 years without problems...i think it'd worth the price

ppl say go branded coz good...but hey, my Samsung 40" was bought at rm3999 a couple of years back...it had only 1 year warranty only those days. Sadly immediately after the one year warranty ended, the TV won't turn on properly...had to get it repaired...and for this branded tv...it was quite disappointing ...so expensive some more those days...

so yeah..cap ayam..branded...some you win, some you lose

ps: but Hisense LED tvs look pretty impressive for the price i might add...if this 32" works ok...might get their LEDs next year...

Very true if you a have a large-ish room and you use it mainly for HD materials....but if you use it mainly for SDs...pics can be quite bad

it depends on the requirements now...size do matter sometime smile.gif
