QUOTE(ariff_tech @ Dec 11 2010, 06:24 PM) actually there is passive coax to optical cable(coax in and optical out)n no need power supply. very unlikely to have no power, circuit need power to drive LED/laser to produce optical signalpower supply only require for optical to coax cable( optical in and coax out). i just notice this when i saw digital audio bracket in my PC motherboard usually provide 5 VOLT to power S/PDIF module ![]() Added on December 11, 2010, 7:14 pm QUOTE(chokia @ Dec 11 2010, 07:07 PM) No need credit also can lah. you got bdv-e370 with 1 optical in and 1 coaxial in
you got byond with HDMI out and coaxial out you got whatever player with coaxial out so the problem is how do you fit 2 coaxial out into 1 coaxial in, right? the solution is your Sony 55EX500 HDTV, which I presume can divert HDMI audio to optical out, by using this HDTV's optical out, you are now can connect your 2 digital audio source device into your BDV-e370 byond --(HDMI)--> HDTV --(optical)--> bdv-e370's optical in whatever player ------- (coaxial)------> bdv-e370's coaxial in this is what scsoo trying to tell you, oh by the way I told you to buy 2 optical cable, use one and one for spare, it is made out of glass, very fragile |

HAHAHA my english must be very bad, TS still don't get it Might as well ask him to buy the converter... seem like give him alternative solution he don't appreciate... so let him spend his money.. Maybe he can also buy a Sub25 also. (Helping fellow forumer that can't wait to hear if ever Logit85 will ever buy Subwoofer) Ok, I am out of this Thread as TS doesn't seem to appreciate my help.... Final Word... Best Luck on buying converter Coax/Optical/whatever... to Logit85.... I must get myself to those english tutor classes, to improve on my english grammar btw thanks ariff_tech, someday will experiment with the diy LED optical driver, look interesting, yet another cheap solution that TS don't appreciate This post has been edited by neb: Dec 12 2010, 06:35 PM |
