For IT certification course psmb provide 3 courses
- MCSE
- LSA
- CCNP

MCSE will cover mostly on software networking.... stuff like dhcp, active directory,dns, and etc etc will be taught in tht course.... there are 7 paper all together after passing first 2 you will become MCP certified, upon passing 2 or 3 more paper (is it? lyk) you will be MCSA certified and upon completing and passing all 7 paper you will be MCSE - Microsoft Certified Sys Engineer.

LSA will be on linux/unix based. Not too sure bout the detail of this course... sorry can't help much here... but if you are serious into unix/linux why not go for it?

CCNP will be on hardware networking. You will learn ineternetwork, configuring router, switch, designing netowrk, and etc etc... there are 5 paper in total, CCNA 1 paper and 4 CCNP paper... passing rate is 849/1000... Just like what my trainer always tell us... CCNP is not easy it is tough... not to scare us but to get us more prepare for the exam...

hi wssoo, as said by lyk, do u unemployed for 6 months then only can attend the course? if like that too bad, cuz i need to start as IT trainee from Nov. do i need to reject the offer and go for the class?

i pass the 70-270 = 842  only .. i want to score 900 but only managed to get this score but i'm satisfied with this score ..  u know at my place only 8 people pass from 32 ...

next week i will be taking my 70-290 test .  . ...

how about you .. hows your score ..  any tips on 70-290 paper .. got many simulation ker .. if u got some testkings/examsheets/or anything  please give it to me ok ...

yeap guess will have to fork out $ for Cisco course, but mean while if you are interested can still got for MCSE... MCSE does cover networking as well, like subnetting, supernetting, ip, dhcp, and etc etc... for full detail better refer to lyk he is taking the course....

i finished my MCSE 2003 ... requested to take windows 2003 but never .. why ? coz lazy already .. hehe .. now im doing my degree ... final semester now ...

so.. may i know what is the registration procedures.. eg. what to bring, etc.

how about payment? do i need to pay anything during registration.. or i have to pay a portion of the course fee and claim in later from psmb??

Im doing CCNP in TrainPro, well it is a good place to learn I must say, as it has all DELL p4 pc, and LCD screen too Despite that they do have very well trained trainer to conduct the class. Trainer are friendly and helpful...

but for your info, trainpro has close its intake for this oct batch on both CCNP and MCSE. TrainPro decided not to continue with this SLG thing and this will be the last batch... For SLG you might need to apply else where... IMS is recommended for CCNP and as for MCSE might want to look in GV or Info Trek... Staff there told me that for MCSE to simulate some server-client environment if they have p4 pc then student no need to share pc, can run some virtual memory application to simulate it out. In other word student get more hands-on exercise on it, instead of you do server I do client simulation... that's what's im being told....
