QUOTE(chemistry @ Jan 5 2011, 09:52 AM) You are so observant Did you keep logging in to SCB Online to view trxn? O.o The reason why I saw it is that I was doing an IBG to SCB..thus wanted to monitor how quick the funds goes into the SCB. Then I saw the line "Data last refreshed : dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm" is always the same within the same day.

QUOTE(chemistry @ Jan 5 2011, 03:52 PM) I learnt frm other forum that an OCBC cardmember was informed by OCBC CS that as long as cardmember settles the retail spending in full, then the BT amount will remain zero interest until the 1st day of 7th statement. I think this kind of BT is better than those separate BT account which requires the cardmember to pay 5% minimum in order to continue enjoying 0% BT interest. So basically we can let the money sit in FD for 6 months then pay BT in full on the 6th month Statement

I notice from SCB Internet Banking the ChoicePoints don't get updated when the transaction is already posted.
Is the ChoicePoints credited after the statement is generated (i.e. after statement date) ?

QUOTE(roy918 @ Jan 7 2011, 01:22 PM) If one happens to hold OCBC Titanium and Amex, do you think OCBC Titanium better than Amex? There is no right or wrong answer but this is purely discussion. There is no point to discuss here if you are limiting what can be discussed. Overall, I feel OCBC Titanium is better than AMEX Gold Credit Card. But the AMEX can be use as secondary after OCBC.

QUOTE(shauyan @ Jan 7 2011, 10:13 PM) hi guys, need your opinion. I'm planning to travel overseas. I have 3 cards: CIMB Master Gold, Citi Cash back Plat and Maybank Petronas Gold. When one you recommend to use? Maybank have lowest 0.5% admin charge but how the conversion rate? Without a doubt, use the Maybank Petronas Gold when overseas.

QUOTE(chemistry @ Jan 10 2011, 01:09 AM) I over hit RM50 rebate capping already. As of 10/1/2011 my spreadsheet shows total rebate as RM50.50. . I cannot use this card anymore until 11/1/2011 (new statement month) Do tell us if OCBC gives you RM50.50 or just RM50 in your next statement dated 10 Jan 2011. The merchant may not have posted before 10-Jan 2011.
