TSOM was an exception to the rule  tongue.gif I am also waiting for the price to drop more post Christmas to grab  biggrin.gif

On the other hand, BTTF was more disappointing to the critics which I dropped the idea to buy after reading the reviews comparing with the DVD releases.

So what's the big deal with criterion???
*
As it been said earlier, not all classics turn out the be excellent release. Zulu one of it, the next i know TSOM, The Bridge On The River Kwai (probably). Any you can name? Blade Runner of course..anything else you guys wanna add.

Identify the reference quality classics on BD.

Have you watched the The Bridge On The River Kwai? Intend to get it but it's kinda pricey at the moment.

Lawrence of Arabia would be another epic not to missed on blu-ray  nod.gif

What title?
I've been buying stuff off ebay, though most of them are the china made cheap stuff. With china made stuff, some of them don't work. But blu-rays, might be worth a try.

There's loads of sellers with great prices mate. Make sure they have the "Top Rated Seller" tag.
And Positive feedback 98-100%. Below than 90% also quite fishy.

I know how to identify them, but don't trust any at all.

Watched Terminator Salvation, Taken, Planet 51 & Kick Ass. Taken is an excellent film with strong story line.

Terminator Salvation just machine junk fighting human. The CGI was an absolute cracker.

Planet 51 is another not disappointing animated film. Kick Ass another recommended "super-hero" wanna be movie. Fantastic stuff.

Calm down mate..You always have a choice to make..And of course, time management is merely important.
So, sit back ..relax over the weekend..Dump the books aside..spend your time on movies at least for couple of hours..

Just joking..why do you need to bring along a movie for? They usually have a sampler Blu-ray that they can demo to you.

Why bother to buy it there then? I went to HN Midvalley and they had a room to let you sit down and test it out, They had a demo BD with the best bits from Saving Ryan's Privates, Band of Brothers, The Incredible Hulk, an Iron Maiden concert, Michael Buble, and others.

The second time I went there to make payment and confirm, I brought along my Foo Fighters: Live at Wembley  icon_rolleyes.gif

Looking at your collection, you have quite a few titles with reference-quality AQ. Bring 'em along.  nod.gif
*
Foo Fighters eh..Maiden concert sounded good on blu-ray. They never sounded better than this. \m/
