Hei guys i just bought this New XPS L502X and currently waiting for the 3 days business day process to given me the estimated delivery period. Hope i can get it asap
Spec that i bought :
XPS L502X
Intel® CoreTM i7 2630QM Processor (2GHz/6MB cache)
4GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM (1 x 4GB)
2GB NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 540M graphics with Optimus
15.6 FHD (1920x1080) B+RGLED display with TrueLife™
750GB hard drive (7200RPM)
9-cell LI (2.8Ah); Up to 8 hours, 29 minutes* of battery life with 9-cell battery
Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6230 with Bluetooth v3.0+HS for Malaysia
Price : RM 4,178
What i wondering is there are two choices on the website for this model http://www.dell.com/my/p/xps-l502x/fs
One with Good RM 3,299 ; Another one with Better RM 3,699
what different of these model :
processors - cheaper one is i5 2410M ; Another is i7 2630M
HDD - cheaper one is 500GB 7200RPM ; Another is 750GB 7200RPM
the others specs are totally same
As i customized some upgrades for own purpose :
FHD Monitor / 9 Cell Battery / Better Network Card
For the cheaper i5 model, i customized it into i7 (same as the i7 one)
and also upgraded the HDD from 500GB to 750GB and the others customization on top i mentioned.
Here comes something weird.
I got the total price for i5 one(after customized) was RM 4,178
and i did tried on i7 one(after same customization as i5) was RM 4,248
there is 70 bucks cheaper while both of it are totally the same thing??
i checked with others details from both model which provided form the website.. still the SAME!
hmm.. so in the end i decided for the cheaper one (ofcoz i guess you will do so) but i m worried about is there any problem of it? did anyone experienced of the pricing different after customized?
i did search online and found that goods delivery period will be longer as the more customization you did. But i willing to wait for the best thing, why not?
anyone got any experience of similar situation please feel free to give me a comment. i appreciate it thanks
i7-2630Qm is a 2nd generation processor ... u cant compair it with 1st generation because its too awesome i would say... u can switch to integrated graphic anytime just to save power ~ and the hyper threading + turbo boost is too niceSpec that i bought :
