Hi there,
I currently have a Dell XPS 9550, recently the laptop does not shut down completely. When I shut it down, it just restarts. So i gave it a factory reset and everything was fine. However after a windows update, it started again. So i had to force shut down (pressing the button) to completely shut down. After a while, my XPS could turn on but would not boot. The keyboards are powered and lighted up, but the screen is blank. Not even a Dell logo or anything things.
I've googled and it seems like many other users have the same problem. Can anyone give me some inputs? Or had similar problems and how to fix it?

Yeah it was indeed the motherboard issue, and i have told Dell CS after doing some research. Luckily I have checked again my warranty and it shows that my system has ProSupport. Previously Dell said I had no warranty left, but apparently it was false. So Dell technician came the next day with the part and fixed it the same day! |
