QUOTE(hengguowei @ Dec 10 2010, 11:53 PM) Yup, for the fireworks, if not wrong, it's playing with shutter speed, the shutter speed will be open for long, like 1 second or more I think, depending the effect of firework you want to capture; The problem is the timing and estimating where the fireworks will pop, etc. |

Usually if u are at an event can roughly know where will pop up. |

QUOTE(ping0613 @ Dec 10 2010, 11:54 PM) Depend on situation. If you need fast shutter speed and the aperture is at maximum or desired aperture, you can't get correct exposure, then you need to resort to ISO; Usually ISO should be the last option. For the fireworks, it's not really about ISO, it's actually underexpose if I'm not wrong, because you want to capture only the fireworks. Higher exposure, the firework will be too bright. Need SIFU aspire to confirm this. This post has been edited by Andy214: Dec 11 2010, 12:22 AM |

If u can get the best why dont go for the best?
Added on December 11, 2010, 12:00 amFireworks ISO set at 100. Because the fireworks is bright enough if ISO too high will be overexposed. Then must disable auto focus or else cant take one This post has been edited by aspire2oo6: Dec 11 2010, 12:01 AM |

I think so too bcoz fireworks itself is a light source hence if you increase the ISO, the light source will be too bright. Try to reduce ISO and increase EV For the fireworks, it's really about ISO, it's actually underexpose if I'm not wrong, because you want to capture only the fireworks.
