Hi guys. I just adopted a 2 months old bunny last week from a friend. After a few days at home, we notice one of its nail is black in color and seems to dry up. Then yesterday, the little bunny bit off the black nail by itself. shocking.gif The nail starts to bleed but the bunny just keep on licking it by itself and don't want any human interaction. This morning when I check on it, the wound already stop bleeding but the bunny still doesn't want to come near us as usual. Should I bring him to a vet? Or its just a common behavior that bunny can take care by himself? Was thinking of bringing him for grooming cause his fur seems a bit unruly.

Anyone can recommend a good vet for neutering around PJ or KL area? Just got a new buck to join my current rabbit. As both new and old rabbit are male, they start biting each other when in play pen. wacko.gif

I thought neutering will make rabbit more sociable and allow them to live longer live? Is it will put their life at risk?

Thanks for the info. Have to consider neutering else each of them will have to take turn using the play pen instead of being able to roam freely.
