this is what happen when irresponsibly breeders push bunnies out to pet stores before they are ready coz they cuter when younger.
also indirectly increasing their sales coz when the sick one die they think can sell again to that owner

now both down.
seems very healthy, eating tim with pallet and drinking alot of water, half bottle each day.
very naughty running around and causing havoc.

1. my new rabbit is a month old since i bought him. looks healthy but how come like to pretend to be lop ear? sometimes both up, sometimes both down.

2. he drinking alot of water, one whole bottle like half a day. and pee alot. good or bad? should i reduce his intake coz he drinking too much and pee too much until he is very stinky and feet always wet.

regarding the cage it really depends on your rabbit.

i have two rabbits.

one has good disciplining know how to use the potty so he stays permanently inside the large playpen on bare marble floors (so he can keep cool also since he is a jersey wooly).

my other rabbit likes to drink alot of water not really learn to control yet so will pee and poo everywhere. i keep him on a cage with wire flooring and pads above so his waste is separated. if not his feet and fur later get dirty and wet often. that will cause bacteria and sickness later.

the one u picture would be a nightmare for u if u buy the rabbit like my second rabbit, u need to clean it many times a day due to waste and wetness.
