Hello all, am curious about everyone's cage setup - can anyone share options? I went to a few pet stores and cage options are really limited. :/

I do intend to set up a playpen - just thinking about cages now. Btw, am planning to house my rabbit indoor.

i am think get a pet since i am staying alone here  , but most of my neighbor have cat and doggy can  i know  does rabbit  need a lot maintenance like cat ?
*
among the usual pets people have i think cats require the least maintenance.
if you only thinking of having something in a cage to feed water and food daily.
clean the cage and pet when you're free.
play with the pet only when you got mood.
then cat or fish is much better.

does rabbits  follow the owner where ever the owner  goes like to the kitchen  and in and around the house? But unfortunately I don't have a garden for it to play at 😥
*
not really but depends on personality some do but generally don't....

generally this is how pets think of us humans:

dog: you feed me, you must be alpha dog, i will be your loyal companion
cat: you feed me, i must be god, i will only manja u when i need something
rabbit: you feed me, but u r still a scary giant monster

hi guys.

Wife wanted a rabbit and we adopted one. currently staying in a cage.

Wanna ask, whats the best basic set up for a rabbit?

Currently, we have a small box for its "room" in the cage, and we let it poop in the cage and we clean it daily.

Am thinking of another box to put wood pellet n some hay for its litter box.

Reason im asking is, the rabbit is pooping a lot and its coming out of the cage. lol

I think pooping a lot and it coming out of the cage is normal. Even mine does that despite being in a dog cage. She uses her potty but sometimes not.

Hi Guys, good morning

Our rabbit is healthy! lompat sana lompat sini.

but lately we noticed sometimes she scratches her ears..and maybe got some head shaking.

takut kena ear mites.

what is the remedy to this?
i checked her ears so far tak nampak scabs or anything.

do all petshops have rabbit ear mite drops?
I work at MV and there's a pet shop here.
