Therefore I decided to repaint the system, since it is getting old.
The E1505 originally looked like this:
Actually, the main reason for me doing this is because of the palmrest which is really ugly coz of the discoloration.

It's on the left hand side, most probably because of gaming
Anyway, soon after I took it apart and began sanding with a 400 sandpaper, and 800 after (to smoothen out)
The results were:

By taking off the Dell emblem earlier, I have to seal the indent within the LCD lid.

I was thinking of using bondo, but ended up using epoxy instead, and it worked very well
After thinning the epoxy, it was priming time.

I used an anti-rust primer which I'm not sure will work at that moment
Anyway, all turned out well till the final layer of paint.


Just flat black though
Seems plain, any suggestion what to add on?
