Btw, notice one problem with the new class 10 sdcard..

When I copy around 1-2gb mp3 from my PC to phone via Media Card Access, phone will hang after 70-80% of the transfer and I need to take out the battery to reboot it. Tried it 2 times and is the same.

I bought this phone for nearly 10 days now, yesterday try to apply app2sd, but always bump into this..there is no prompt whatsoever on my phone..



can someone help me proceed? this is my first android experience btw..

Same to me la bro.....I have facing this prob.......try put many data on your sd......your sd can become slow ans slow......then hang........

@holocauster - make sure your phone is unlock while you hit "adb shell" and it will prompt you for permission on the phone.

Added on December 20, 2010, 2:00 pmMy sdcard now got a round 7 gigs of data. Didn't notice any slow yet. Will test more during lunch hours.

GSo how about Hd ?any result?

Just now I downloaded app called SD Card Speed Test. The phone hang when running it.
I guess I'll pass the HD video later for later tonight. Swapping back to my old 8GB card first.

Wat is the best format hd video play on xt?

@lingch - maybe you should test your sdcard with this SD Card Speed Tester.

i'd done that, but there's no prompt whatsoever..
usb connection is charge only, usb debugging is on, everything that Google tells me I'd done it (i think)...

Try connect the phone with usb debug on, then off usb debug while connected, then on it again.

After that try to request su ( while leaving phone unlocked and screen on)

If that does not work, try opening superuser app then do it again.

Just to be sure, did you rooted your phone with UniversalAndroot?

after i partition ...when i plug in the phone...the sd card said DAMAGE SD CARD ...NEED TO REFORMAT!!!

format with ur phone 1st..then shrink to create ex2 ..

try to reformat your SD card and try again.

Make sure you partition like this.

Partition 1 : FAT32 (64k cluster) - Primary, Boot
Partition 2 : ext2 (1GB or less) - Primary
Partition 3 : linux swap (64 or 128mb) - Primary

Not sure able to do it or not since something wrong with mine using class 10 as per my Post #467.
After did some testing and digging I suspect our either our Phone hardware or firmware not supporting class 10 speed.
