partition magic or mini tool partition

khal, wat is the memory card directory in /mnt/asec for? is it the fat32 app2sd directory?

Nope.In linux based systems you can make symbolic links (think shortcuts in windows) that point to any file or directory. The /sdcard directory on the xt is just a symbolic link that points to /mnt/sdcard. You can see this by using a terminal emulator and typing "cd /" and then "ls -l".

So basically /sdcard is just a shortcut to /mnt/sdcard where the physical device is mounted.


for the default wallpaper you need to extract from framework-res.apk.and for the v3 miui rom no need to apply the updates .The updates only for v2..

bro, have you check that your sdcard not fault and can be read/write? otherwise xda has great tutorial for thisSD card partitioning

hairan bin ajaib! are you formatted and partioning sdcard in the phone? if yes, then remove from phone
and using directly(usb reader/port) to your pc....if possible, try to temporary protection disable your pc antivirus for fast action.

yah its quite weird even i made partition using phone its still work

Finally done my partition....the card reader is abit faulty one..only can read cannot write
no wonder came out this error
now i partition 1.5GB ext3....70MB swap

After applying the v3 update, do we need to wipe any data? My installation is successful but I don't see any performance increase. Using Root explorer, I saw that the minfree file is dated August!
