QUOTE(khalpowers @ Feb 7 2011, 04:09 PM) move to ext2.. create ext2 for 1gig..swap 0....their will automatically move to ext3 but not the widgets...u can force to ext2 ezily and remove back to system without need to reinstall the widget... .but normally widget and game cannot be move but actually their move a bit from game to sd..so when u click remove games but total internal not increase because their automatically move to ext2 ... this method just for froyo ....but i noticed much faster ..huhuuhu so if we install a game, they automatically installed in sdcard?bro ned to flash first or create the ext2 first? |

QUOTE(~~5ive~~ @ Feb 8 2011, 02:47 AM) khal do make recommendation for 100mb of ext previously to me (as i ask for his advice) in 2 or one pages before this, khal has recommended using 1.1b which is using ext2 1gig, cause the lastest version will using app2sdI cannot recall which version or whose froyo is that, but something to do with native storage whereby apps will be store at FAT32.... correct me if i'm mistaken |

QUOTE(ltwvince @ Feb 8 2011, 09:28 AM) When you asked that time, only Dexter 1.1 and 1.1a version available and is correct at that point of time. yeap, this is will explain the confuse hehehheeNow after Dexter 1.1b updates, ext2 better off with 1gb space since it allows apps2ext. Added on February 8, 2011, 10:31 amThere are 2 support on dexter 1.1b if I'm reading it right as I've not tested yet. Apps2sd is native froyo support which move apps to fat32. Apps2ext is our normal apps2sd on 2.1 which move apps to ext2. |

QUOTE(Xjester @ Feb 8 2011, 03:17 PM) Ok so i need to re-format the sdcard to ext3 and remove swap . Will i need to install any script through ADB or will Nandroid backup will be enough ? before number 9, u must copy the gingerbread khal version into nandroid folder in u're sdcard,I think i will with the Framework if Camera and camcoder is the only thing not working. Just for Sanity Check let me state the steps 1- Format SD card and go to Fresh SBF ( im on 2.1 US optimizer v10 ). 2- root it (SuperOneClick ) - included with zip 3. install OpenRecovery , use included apk. 4. reboot phone once 5. copy the folder "nandroid" to root directory of your sdcard. 6. Make sure sdcard is not attached to pc using "mass storage share" to pc. 7. Run OpenRecovery app and "install Recovery". 8. Press Boot recovery 9. restore the backup "stock22" 10. wipe / factory reset in OpenRecovery 11. reboot n then u must restore 'the gingerbread khal version', not the stock22. after that continue to no 10 correct me if i'm wrong |
