A side observation though, at least from one of the Big 4 firms, new associates (entry level) often have some sort of prior experience.
Even large consulting firm do hire fresh grads, just that you gotta be damn good to qualify.
But as for strategic roles, maybe prior experience is required.

What is it that you don't like about audit? Is it the work or simply the hours? Do you see yourself eventually going into Finance and if so would you enjoy the work?
I don't like the process of documenting everything I found and repeat it on a daily/weekly/monthly basis

Can't complaint thou, Audit does come with a pretty decent paycheck.
