hey jz wanna ask, this may sound noob...

wat is the bonus pool amount under my league placing?? and wats manner mule?? tak und a lot of SC terms lol =)

bonus pool is a bonus that adds on continuously and you can make the bonus point into your ladder point by winning even/ not favoured matches.

manner mule means you summon down mules at opponent base to humiliate them when you won...

errr if i am not wrong, bonus pool is a point system to let you catch up on the ranking system. Lets say you didnt play for quite some time, when you play instead of getting 10 points per win, you will gain extra points from your bonus pool to even out the score from people who spam matches on ladder.

It is like eating burger, lets say i eat one burger everyday. You are afk for 1 week, when you start eating burger, every burger you eat will be rewarded as 2 burger until you use up the 7 bonus burger u accumulated when u afk.
so it is posisble for you to catch up on me on the burger count/ladder

this is what i know, specific % calculation not so sure

oh....now my bonus pool is 2k plus..wat does dat mean??every match i win now oni add up 5 or 10points oni....really don und how the systems work lol

Not add-up, is deduct from the Bonus Pool.
Every few hour Bonus Pool will automatic add some point. (Base on the launching date of Sc2)
If you just finished placement match now, you will have around 2000++ bonus pool.
The purpose of bonus pool is help ppl to chase the old user, so that you can play less game to achieve the higher point (if you win more).
If you have bonus pool, then you will win 2x Point for each match. Let's say you win a Favored Opp, which give you 20 points, at the same time you will have additional 20 points (and your bonus pool will deduct 20points)


Give you a scenario
Player A
Bonus Pool =0
Current Point = 1000

Player B
Bonus Pool = 200
Current Point = 1000

Player C
Bonus Pool = 8
Current Point = 1000

Let's say Player A/B/C win a even player which give him 10 point.

Player A New point = 1000+10+0(no bonus Pool) = 1010 | New Bonus Pool = 0
Player B New Point = 1000+10+10(deduct from Bonus Pool) = 1020 | New Bonus Pool = 200-10 = 190
Player C New Point = 1000+10+8(Bonus pool left 8 point only) = 1018 | New Bonus Pool = 8-8 = 0

If lost,
Player A/B/C will deduct 10 point (Bonus Pool don't affect the lost match deduct point)

ohhhh okok nw i und d.....so if i in any way or sense, play til the bonus pool 0 d, i will b almost near the points of the one highest in my league rite??

every 2 hour add 1 bonus pool
let say u hav 1k bonus pool
u just won when u r slightly favor
u gain +7 point
bonus +7 point
total point 14
ur bonus pool left 993
when ur bonus pool almost 0 ur point b will around 2k+- unless u rarely lose then ur point will around 2.7-3k

Ur sacarsm detector rosak d. The name's given by others not me kay? *refer to first page of the thread. He keep telling me about stuff I don't understand such as 'I will decrease my 4gate time from 8 minute to 7.XX minute' and points to the clock. I tot the clock's only serving me as a reference so that I don't skip my lunch due to overplay swt...

Edit : His name even removed from the first page by mules in the 'just promoted to Gold' list... guees there's really no place to put up his detail now in the thread anymore since he had been promoted so fast..

still silver only currently in 1v1 and 2v2.. nowadays mainly playing 1v1.. sigh, can't progess further than silver .. noob player i am, hope to improve myself.. im a full time zerg player, don't know about terran or protoss .. only know how to counter at certain times..

bronze and silver community ma, siewkaiz (nDLKaiz) is plat now, you improve so fast it is almost a bit scary. KiKi also gold now. Both toss player 4 gate to stardom . Jealous la you 2 raise so fast leaving me behind eating dust
