QUOTE(geekster129 @ Dec 20 2010, 10:30 AM) Bokehlicious and sharpelicious wide open! Why said heavy damage so? U means the price? And why can't compare? Means can't use kancil to compare with bmw? It's a lens of heavy damage too. Added on December 20, 2010, 10:31 am Not a fair comparison lar...It's like comparing diamonds of different carats. |

QUOTE(geekster129 @ Dec 22 2010, 02:32 PM) If after you recompose, the distance between you and your subject changes, your pic definitely will have wrong focus. Unless if you use AF-C which continuously hunts the focus. Thx.. Then means that I have to use AF-C to shoots??? But I have press the AE lock, will this help to avoid out of focus??Added on December 22, 2010, 2:38 pm QUOTE(celciuz @ Dec 22 2010, 02:33 PM) This is what I expected earlier, but so far I have no issue using center AF then recompose on my 85mm f/1.4G. Do u press the AE lock to recompose again? This post has been edited by Cwz90: Dec 22 2010, 02:38 PM |

QUOTE(geekster129 @ Dec 22 2010, 02:45 PM) AF-S will do. I'm just saying that AF-C is one mode to hunt for focus, good for moving subjects. Thx.. May still need some times to learn =)The AF-L/AE-L button (also known as back button focusing), will override your AF so that when you press the shutter, your camera does not refocus again. So, when the first time you do AF your camera done focusing, e.g. 3m away from subject, then when you recompose and hold down AF-L, your camera will snap immediately without focusing again. But, if you moved slightly further or nearer to subject (let's say 2.99m or 3.01m away), the camera will still stay at 3m focus (because AF-L prevents it from refocusing again) as you hold down AF-L and thus cause the pic to go into a wrong focus. |
