the media scanning on boot is short.

'i know you know' version will FAIL TOTALLY FAIL, CONFIRM FAIL, if you upgrade through the market,

unless you on the free version that you get from the market ( not the i know you know place/forum) then you can auto update.

all the apps of 'i know you know' version cant be auto update, cause you know why.

only if you truly get the "real" version can be update.

uninstall it, reboot, install it. if you get a not found link (which isnt supposed to happen anymore since the market update), use market access,

oh and may i ask you using any custom roms? most custom roms today put the launcher pro into the system/apps, which i think could be a problem.

at XDA android development section got sgs battery mod2 (i hope i got the tittle right), it could help you change the icon mod automatic

my suggestion is, if you got a root explorer, try to check in the system/app, if you found the launcher pro .apk. delete it, and make sure you got other launcher too, okay mate if not your phone will boot with no home which is a problem.

Added on December 8, 2010, 11:14 amthat because we got no paid apps listing in our market, so when it try to find the link to update, that cause a problem. but i got no problem updating my apps after the market update to the 3 tabs. dont know if got other paid apps like that

but you can check. usually it use update.zip method

to check it, after download open it up as an archive and check if there is META INF folder, if it got that then it means it is for update.zip method
