im thinking about to buy a cabinet since i hv only H2 which is 1:18~ but i hv some HW cars as well.

of course need to buy a cabinet to display ur collection...why hide it?lol

i am also a newbie only got 4 units of 1/18

- HWE Ferrari 458 Italia
- Maisto Merc Benz SLR Mclaren

all noobie car.

nope i customise e decals in a car-accessories shop while e rims r painted by my frd

if you decide to collect maisto, i will say maisto CLS & SLR are quite great for the price level. like the SLR i also keeping till now. CLS having 4 openable doors.

How many of you guys got put something to hang your diecast when displaying to prevent the wheels touch on ground?

How much for a 1/18 scale ??detail car ..approximately??..want to start this hobby since i have been a fan of car since age 7..

um i juz got maisto cayenne from azzuri25~ my 2nd 1:18 thinking to buy SLR too~ i saw a blue colour one around RM159.90

azzuri item really quite reasonable. blue SLR ar? i suggest silver or grey 1, me myself is silver 1, from leroy, haha. maisto do good on some models, R8 also not bad, but you just need to look carefully when you picking cause some maisto will have QC problem or something happen during shipping the stocks, some is without a lamp, a side mirror, a windshield etc.

depends on which brand. & welcome to diecast world, you will get poisoned once you get the 1st unit, so better beware.
