From Seng Heng @ RM1900 with free HTC ori car charger (the mini USB is separate) & Jabra Bluetooth.
Total warranty 3 years = 2 years from SiS + another year from Seng Heng. rclxm9.gif

Dare not to play around with Hboot & the S-On thingy. Manage to root my Desire with Hboot 0.93 with S-On with Unrevoked3.22 which is kind of new.
Only manage to port to LeeDroid 2.3c early this morning. So far so good.

Since I got my White Desire on 30 Dec, I've rooted it,31 Dec (my birthday),I port over to LeeDRoid 2.3c. 1 Jan, installed Setcpu & tried whole day on WiFi,still not performing as good as my previous Wildfire.
Yesterday 2 Jan, I flashed over to new Radio 32.54.
Today, I'm gonna try out full time over Edge. Will see how it goes.
My previous Wildfire lasted me 2 days of full WiFi mode use - min surfing, heavy social chat (10 min every hour),while on full edge network,I got to use 16 hours straight.

Why is my Desire get hot at the back? 2 of my friends use theirs, never have this issue!

Now using LeeDroid 2.3c with latest radio 32.54.

Any comment about AuraxTsense? Said It's stable & not draining battery.

Yesterday night port over my LeeDroid to AuraxTsense 8.2
It's laggy. This morning, immediately revert back to LeeDroid 2.3c.
Also, revert Radio to 32.49. I find the 32.54 is not that responsive.

Now is to monitor the battery consumption. See if it would last me for 1 full day use compare to my Wildfire (16 hours use - with moderate internet use).

i can get around 15hours with twitter,fb,calls and sms... smile.gif

Bro Hazril, that is with 3G or 2G data connection?

Well, my experience with my previous Wildfire, using only 2G, power management with SetCPU (screen off - underclock & main - overclock), I can manage to get 16 hours. With similar setup, I doubt my new White Desire could stand up to it. But I will try to optimize it. Since it's screen is 30% more larger & perform faster (can do more job) than Wildfire , its fair with lower hour/day usage.

Well if im not mistaken bro hazril is not using pushmail. Im using pushmail, I can only get 12hours max.
*
Bro Rattan, what about no use Push Mail, will you get more then 12 hours usage?

My experience with Wildfire - I dont use push mail too. Only heavy Social Chat - Pingchat & Whatsapp, slightly on Facebook & casual surf.

im always on 3G...rugi woo when you have highspeed device and you just go on 2G...its like having a Bugatti on a 10 lane road and you just drive 110km/h...  laugh.gif

Bro Hazril,

Thank you for your reply.
Too bad the my Digi has no good 3G coverage. It's like Buggatti on 2 lane road where fast lane is LOUSY.
I believe Maxis or Celcom would have better 3G coverage, which is why your phone could last long.
Do you use WCDMA/GSM auto or single WCDMA?
Cos I find that using AUTO & switching inbetween will be drain more battery.

Do you guys use setCPU to govern your Desire? Does it help to.preserve battery life by underclock when screen off? I'm currently using it,but not too sure if its helpful. Mind to share your experience?

try set 245/245 powersave
*
Ah..set to profile @ screen off - 245/245 powersave

I so kiasu that, main profile also set to powersave @ 998/960
I did set lower min at main because it does lag performance like seaching contact & keyboard typing.
So what is your Main setup in setCPU?

Seems like I'm getting hold of it right this moment.
So far so good with LeeDroid 2.3c with setCPU both main/profile @ Powersave mode.

Just browse thru that Oxygen V2 RC5 have those I need.
Wonder if it's stable? Anyone using it?
