have you try to pull down the notification bar?? tap on the "charge only".. then select "HTC Sync"....

Ahh, so you are still on stock and not rooted yet? Then problem would be elsewhere cos the USB brick happens only when rooting cos it changes the original img files

Before this when you connect USB, did it happen?

@netken - re-flash. Or format back the faulty SD on PC. The SD is like your HDD, so there are times when we are unlucky enuf to be hit with bad sectors.

hi bros, anyone encounter usb cannot detect before ? it is not detected at all, not cannot recognized.

issit possible it get usb brick ? cos its 2nd hand, my friend get from forumer here yesterday.
cos im new also to android, issit possible to brick then go back to stock?
tried reset factory setting. install/uninstall htc sync. boot/reboot.

1. when connected it is charging. but at notification area, nothing at all.
2. but if i on usb debugging, it show at notification area.
3. "ask me" of usb connection is enabled, and selected hdd/sync to tried.
4. it is just charging, while pc have not a single response/notification.
5. i tried with other pc, still same.
6. i tried the same cable and pc on another desire it works well.
7. use myphoneexplorer to try, it state no usb device connected.

maybe Factory Reset will do?

must have sdk tools. let say your sdk folder is like this..and you will notice sdk tool will have folder names tools and inside tools have file name fastboot.exe. basically we will run this file.

c:\download\sdk

go to start->run type cmd

then you will have cmd prompt screen.

type cd.. (to go back)

cd download\sdk\tools

then run fastboot from there.

have you try as what i said?

after you run as i advise just type fasboot oem enableqxdm 0. this must done in fastboot mode. on your set by pressing back + power.

actually im getting blur..i thought is fastboot from phone then type command.
i just switch to android for 2 days so those terms i still very noob..

ok, what i understand now is, now i must dl sdk tools to pc.
click fastboot.exe
after i run fastboot.exe from pc, type fasboot oem enableqxdm 0.
when typing the command my set must be in fastboot state, by holding power+back button. (assume no need select anything, enter the fastboot mode only)
