got a lot of ways to do it, trailing stops is not easy to use, too small, then get whipped, too big then cant hit also......

nowadays GU, UJ and CHF is very hard to trade.....very volatile

i am aware that pair combination which involved GBP and JPY move so volatile, how you absorbed the negative floating? do you use the art of position sizing hmm.gif

I would recommend against using FXOpen. They are not regulated and once they close, all your money is gone. Think twice.

izzit..where actually we can get the list of regulated brokers?

I prefer broker with low spread 2-3 pips, no requotes, good service i.e easy bank in, withdraw money and using MT4. Hope kelvin_tan could recommend one or two.

Always choose regulated broker, especially if you are trading big lot. Do you dare to deposit 10k usd above to fxopen? You will have peace of mind if you deposit into regulated broker e.g. IBFX, Oanda, MIG bank or Dukascopy.

Just my 2pips

*I notice there are a few IB in this forum. Hope moderator can take note.

Every month is not safe to trade. I suggest follow your indicator whether der is entry or not, rather than speculating wat months are best to trade.

As mark Twain says:

'October: This is one of the peculiarly dangerous months to speculate in stocks in. The other are July, January, September, April, November, May, March, June, December, August, and February.'

I got a small acc using MIG, i dunno why the value is different than my other broker's data (Admiral Markets)

i suspect they got push you to a higher spread when opening and closing position that time, lets say you close with a profit of 20pips, when it closes it becomes 18.90pips, it'll try to decrease your profit.

maybe it's a steady and firm broker, but not a fair one laugh.gif laugh.gif

you obviously never used oanda before. Give it a try. Low spreads, no requotes, regulated. only problem? their charting sucks. I use mt4 to chart

Oanda spread can be big at times ... that's why there's no requote ... they have more leeway to fill the orders. ...

I notice that usually, broker that offer fixed spread will have to requote during limited liquidity ... this is to be expected...

The red flag is when .. a broker offers fixed spread + no requote ... they could be a bucket shop that falsify their quotes to begin with...

@imax80
for the last time, FXDD / OANDA ! these 2 are regulated. FXDD spreads for EU = 2pips

Oanda spread for EU = 0.9 pips.

@luqmans
Its true that spreads can be big on oanda but this is only during news time and it only last 1 minute. Afer that its back to normal spreads. Most brokers do it. It only affects those that trade when the news is out.

A very beautiful elliot wave is almost finished for the EU on the daily chart. Also visible on your H4 chart heh. EU has been treating me well!
