QUOTE(hazardcradle @ Dec 4 2010, 11:04 PM) guys, i have a question. what kind of cable work they do for the installation? since i'm staying in a high rise apartment, do they provide new cabling? my telephone/ streamyx cable is a mess up. what's the additional cost for a cable (like astro, rm2.50 per meter)? my appointment is on 10th dec. thanks in advance. rj45 cable.. fibre optic..

well in my opinion.. capping can be forgiven but they really have to increase the capped amount.. 5mb -> 150gb 10mb -> 300gb 20mb -> 600gb but throttling definitely pisses me off, they cant just simply throttle u.. i mean if they throttle u slower by 40 or 30% , tat can still be forgiven but they throttle till u left 128kbs? tat internet speed nt for man de.. for animal de la.. hopefully no throttle .. just increase cap limit.. Added on December 5, 2010, 12:36 pmQUOTE(hazardcradle @ Dec 4 2010, 11:44 PM) i dont think so. vdsl2 is using existing copper cable, not fiber optic (a point from sdf room to my house). is it possible for me to ask them to replace the cable since there are exposed cable in my house? u can try.. but they might most probably not.. unless u pay more..
