Bottomline is, I'm now paying for a "premium High Speed Broadband" service that downloads slower than my old Streamyx slowband. I've started the usual round of support reports with the cust care and will update on the outcome. Hope this info helps those of you who are planning to subscribe and it would be good if the rest could run some tests and share the results. Thanks for reading

Hoe much more are you paying for your "premium High Speed Broadband" compared to your old Streamyx slowband?
RM19 more?

I'm sure they did, everywhere as long as people are not happy with that dirt lemon "special" DIR-615, their Marcom is ever ready to reply instantly:

)
Of course, they'll bring you around the garden explaining everything BUT will never explain
why the need for an external separate router, and why all vlans are not handled on the BTU itself where it's already handling vlan.400 VOIP well & it's still seriously underutilise.Anywhere, I don't really bother what TM is going to explain again, as long as TM still stick to that "special" Ralink RT3052F ~384Mhz chip with a rather weak 1.8dBi with "special" relationship with D-Link ONLY, whatever their explanation is going to add more suspicious and will continue to make more unhappy customer, both home & business -->
a really unwanted yet silly monopoly tactic which will definitely slow down subscriber growth.
Maybe they need to get more moneh out of the Dlink deal.
Like this case which is still being investigated:
Alcatel-Lucent bribery probe gathers pacePETALING JAYA: Several Datuks were among a number of corporate bigwigs interviewed by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in connection with the Alcatel-Lucent bribery probe allegedly involving Telekom Malaysia Bhd .
Informed sources told The Malay Mail that these Datuks and officials include current and former TM big wigs and those of Alcatel-Lucent Sdn Bhd — the local subsidiary of Alcatel-Lucent SA — and its former agents and consultants.
The Paper That Cares further learnt the MACC probe had intensified since early last month, after local Alcatel-Lucent officials gave their statements.
The probe is believed to centre on the two local consultants, allegedly paid by Alcatel-Lucent, which in turn, bagged a RM263.5m contract from TM several years ago.
