They just confirmed it will works on TL-WR841ND ver7.
The test unit I assisted them to test on my Huawei BTU is on ver7.1, I believe this is the version sold in Malaysia at the moment.

Currently they are sorting out internally now to re-confirm before releasing the official firmware.

Actually both vlan 500 & 600 has been hard-coded onto the firmware so you don't need to create vlan like the DIR-615, all the features & functions look & feel are exactly like the usual TP-Link firmware.
This custom firmware will use LAN port 1 for IPTV connection.
